Dr. Fountain and her staff are AMAZING! Dr. Fountain always takes her time and answers all of my questions. Her staff are always polite and they are very gentle with my nervous dogs. Their rates are affordable. I just can't say enough good things about this place! Dr. Fountain helped me get my dog's seizures under control. And when I had an emergency after hours I was able to call her and given instructions so that we could wait (and save money) to bring my dog in the next day. But she gave me the option to bring her in that night but it wasn't life threatening so she gave me advice on waiting. She is genuinely caring. Best vet I've ever had!

We came in seeking help for a dog that we found and we were just seeking information. They gave two word answers and were so insensitive. I could not believe how rude they were. I called another vet later and they were more kind and considerate and gave us helpful information without being rude and crass.

I love Dr. Fountain at Gulf Winds Animal Hospital. She always takes her time. Answers all of my questions. Never makes me feel rushed. She is available for emergency calls and advises over the phone to try to avoid emergency visits if they can wait til the next day but its always my decision if I still want to be seen that night. Sweet staff. My dog had surgery and I was having trouble changing her bandages and she let me bring her for the day so they could watch her while I worked and charged me like $25. I just really can't say enough about how much I love my vet! My other dog has seizures and I wasn't even there for him on one of my visits and she still spoke with me about him. She is AMAZING!

They refuse to see medical emergencies (my cat not eating for a week) because they’ve never seen him before. I pass this hospital all the time and never see a car outside. It is always empty. What animal HOSPITAL that never has people in it turns away sick animals? I told them I can send them my old records. Front desk lady was so rude I couldn’t believe they would have someone working there like this. What hospital rejects a sick animal? Sick.
