Early on a Monday morning our little Schnauzer was experiencing difficult delivering her puppies. Most veterinary clinics would not take her however Lame Dow, realizing the danger to mom and pups took her right away. We lost one puppy which had been in the birth canal too long however successfully saved the mom and 2 beautiful little Schnauzers. Can’t thank Lake Dow enough and from now on, my go-to vet.

I am always in and out, I never have to wait long. It's clean and everyone has been so welcoming. They care for their customers along with their pets. It is a very affordable place .

So far they have been a life saver to my German shepherd Luna. She suffered from seizures and they hav always called her meds in quickly and process the request for the ones to pick up very quickly. They answer questions and have very friendly front desk staff. Even when my baby got a ear infection they got her in fast. Thank you for caring!

Dr. Craig is untrustworthy in telling us the temperament of our Dog. Our dog has had no problem with anyone else in the office and other past vets we have had yet she is constantly saying that our dog is aggressive towards her. Knowing my dog it doesnt seem likely but if it was the truth than what is she doing to my dog to make her act so differently? UPDATE: After our last appointment with this vet my dog has been afraid of other vets we had to bring her to. I dont know what they did but after 5 YEARS of going to different vets she has NEVER had any problems with any other vets until this one! Be wary of this location or your pets might have a personality change too

If you're having an emergency, I'm sure this is a great place to take your pets. I am sure the vet is very talented as others have highlighted. I personally never needed any services other than check up, so that is all i can speak to. However, when I have an appointment for 12pm, and am still sitting in the waiting room over an hour later, and my dog hasn't even been weighed yet? I was not a walk-in, my dog was not a new patient. When we finally were put in a room, it was another 20 minutes. Finally the vet was in and out in 5 minutes. Are you joking? No apology even from the staff or vet. Finally leaving this necessary review now that we found a place that respects others time.

It may take awhile to get in for your initial visit but once you're in , it's so worth it. I've been to two other vets in Henry county and I am so pleased to say that the search is over. Caring staff, very knowledgeable doctors, clean environment, reasonable prices, same or next day urgent care appointments , and the time in the waiting area is reasonable. Lastly, they give your dog a courtesy nail trim at their visit. What a relief to have excellent care fory fur babies. Thank you Lake Dow Animal Hospital!
