Description Welcome to our north county coastal small animal practice serving San Diego! Our Carlsbad location is a full service veterinary hospital. We provide extensive preventative medicine including vaccine evaluations, orthopedic surgery (including total hip replacements), stem cell therapy options, cold laser therapy as well as quality dental care. We pride ourselves in providing exceptional customer experiences with compassionate patient care for all your pets. Our other two locations are Mohnacky Animal Hospital of Vista and Mohnacky Animal Hospital of Escondido serving the Tri-City area and North County Inland areas respectively.

We went to mohnacky Carlsbad today for my pug Chubbs Wallis Shak and it was a great expierence. It was our first time in and the check in process was easy and communication was great. Kylie was our vet tech who did his untrasound and she was just the best. Made us both feel comfortable and let us know what to expect afterwards and even followed up with a call later in the day to make sure we were doing ok. I say “we” because I was more nervous than the dog. We will be back soon!

This is such a fantastic Vet. We drive up all the way from Hillcrest to come here. I love how friendly everyone is and that they offer medicine as well as conventional vet services. Jordan is awesome!

Took my fur baby in for diarrhea and vomiting. Nurse at front desk was very friendly and greeted us right away. Dr. Bulliard was thorough, made us comfortable, offered several remedies, and provided pricing before any treatment. Her demeanor was friendly, knowledgeable, and while recommending treatments was not pushy about doing all of it. Next day my pup was feeling a million times better. Highly recommend!

Zero stars for Mohnacky's Animal Hospital - I strongly discourage anyone from choosing them. Despite their seemingly affordable prices, my recent experience has been a nightmare. Post-surgery, they showed no concern or follow-up, and when contacting them, their staff seemed indifferent, discussing unrelated patients. Additionally, they incorrectly quoted a procedure for my pet, and there was significant miscommunication throughout their staff, from front to back. The level of service provided was far from professional. My dog suffered an infection due to a non-sterile spay procedure, and Mohnacky's refused assistance with the subsequent emergency procedure costs. A messy experience from start to finish. Regrettably, I wish I had never subjected my dog to the trauma she endured due to unfortunate experience with Mohnacky's Animal Hospital. I took my baby girl Storm to get a check up because of her cough. I was met with a gentleman named Skylar. He helped my baby girl and reinsurued us that she was going to be okay. Even told us what has happening to her in real time. Thank you Skylar for your positive attitude and for being so kind.

Consistently gone above and beyond to provide top-notch care for my beloved dog. Whether it's for routine check-ups or more urgent medical needs, they've always been there with expert knowledge, compassion, and a reassuring demeanor. Not only do they excel in their medical expertise, but they also take the time to educate pet owners and answer any questions thoroughly. I especially appreciate the way they tailor their approach to each pet's individual needs, ensuring personalized care that takes into account both physical health and emotional well-being. Overall, I can't recommend. They're not just a veterinary clinic; they're a trusted partner in my dog's health journey. Thank you to the entire team for everything you do!
