Description We are a volunteer-powered nonprofit dedicated to rescuing homeless, neglected, & abandoned animals from certain euthanasia & finding them loving forever homes. We educate the community & all pet parents on responsible pet parenting, including the importance of spay/neuter, obedience training, & good nutrition. We envision a world where all animals are spayed & neutered & where all pets have responsible families & loving homes. Successful Lucky Dog adoptions depend on multiple and strong relationships w/ committed volunteers, foster homes, local veterinarians, trainers, & boarding facilities. Through these relationships we are able to rescue hundreds of animals each year, provide them w/ loving temporary care, & find them forever homes.

My husband and I just had a truly joyful experience with the amazing staff at Lucky Dog! We donated some pet items to their organization, and Morgan kindly offered to give us a tour. She was so fun, knowledgeable, and professional with her walk around the facility. We were blown away with how immaculate the buildings were set up, and how happy the dogs and cats were! This organization is a tremendous benefit and asset to the community of Florence!

Amazing place! Serving as a foster home for them, I became a "foster failure" last year, adopting the Momma dog I was fostering. Today, I brought one to be spayed. They charge less than one third of what local vets charge & Dr. VanVlake is a fabulous veterinarian. Highly recommend getting sterilization surgery done at this facility: spay $100; neuter $90

I got an appointment really quick to have my kitten neutered. They texted updates during the day about his post surgery procedure. Highly recommend!!
