My Sammie is a patient of Doc and I just love him! This is my first pet and I love my Sammie more than anything! Doc is so patient with Sammie and he takes the time to explain what to expect and what to do to help my baby with his possible allergies. You can tell that everyone there loves all the animals they see. It makes me happy to know my baby is in good hands.

Great vet! Great pricing and the staff is always friendly! They take great care of my animals and are always available for scheduling!

Love this office and the staff. Been taking my chihuahua there for years. Doc takes time to talk to you about the visit and gives you advice on what to look for as our pet is getting older.

I recommend this family-owned vet practice. Dr. Lockhart aka Doc takes time w his patients and their owners. He's smart, and he makes thoughtful referrals when necessary to provide "gold standard" service. He's provided successful surgeries for many dogs and cats for my family. We respect and depend on him for yearly veterinary checkups. His wife Jennifer takes a personal interest in their human clients while managing the whole shebang.

I had a stroke. I called to cancel two appointments. They decided to cancel the sooner one and not the second ones. They admitted to it. They are still charging a missed appointment fee. They prefer I see another vet because they will not credit the fee. We were about to spend another 500+ there on our three dogs. They said we are at an impasse and it would be better to get another vet. Disgusting horrible service. Don’t take your pets there. I regret exposing our dogs to them.

If only they had a zero starts option - I wanted to share a horrible experience I had with Companion Veterinary Care Friday. In order to make an appt/establish a new pt, you must give a $50 deposit. Ok no problem. However, evidently they have a policy that there is only one person allowed in the room with the pet. This was not relayed when I made the appt of course and pd the deposit. They informed me once we were in the room that my 6 year old daughter had to sit in the lobby by herself. In no world would I ever allow my child to sit in a lobby by herself. I can understand that this is the right of the business; they can enact any policy they want no matter how irrational but seems this would be relayed when the appt was made and deposit paid. The vet refused to allow her in the room. Of course we did not stay, did not see a dr, and I am not being refunded the $50. I would adamantly recommend you not use this establishment. ***In response to the reply on this review: It wasn’t a choice to simply not adhere to the policy. The policy should be stated up front when appt made and deposit paid rather than buried in an email. We were offered to move to a room where I can leave the door “cracked to keep an eye” on my small child in a waiting room that was in fact not empty on arrival and open to anyone to come in the front door. Not an option for this momma. The other option of taking my injured dog to the back with staff that were already less than kind and visibly irritated, also not my preference. Not a problem, we found a family friendly vet. The issue is we paid for a service we didn’t receive based on a controversial policy that is not stated upfront. To put it simple, it’s deceitful and bad business.
