The first thing I did was ask about the pet rats. The gentleman was very polite and friendly. However, the Manager was not in the same day I went in and it took me literally about 6-8 months to share my experience. The Manager (Brittany) had two pet rats that were scared due to their lack of attention and being socialized. Upon holding them, they were very curious and shy at first and then they were very excited to receive the attention they were craving for. I noticed they were sneezing and they had a red mucus discharge from sneezing. I already had a pet rat at home and I didn’t want to take them home THAT DAY… but the gentleman said he would also say something to Brittany who had been in charge of the care and then putting them in a tank and at the very top of a shelf that was out of sight and no way they were able to get adequate air supply which was the one cause of the discharge. He agreed and he was supposed to tell her that once they were treated and no longer being able to transmit the germs to my pet rat that they were going to call me. They had my number and name and I even called them the next day to make sure they had communicated but it was obvious that Brittany should have been fired for not being able to do anything best for the pet rats and did not believe that she was wrong about the situation that they were currently in and causing air circulation to be zero but she said they were on antibiotics and they would call me when they were complete with the antibiotics but they never called and she is not able to take constructive criticism and she did not need to be working with costumers let alone pets!!! All I can say is for her own personal issues that it’s a good thing I was on the phone bc I would rather have punched her out but she will have karma take care of her one day. So if she is still in the feeder supply chain you can be sure that whatever you buy (pet wise ) will not be in the best shape!

8 months ago I posted a very positive review of this store with 5 stars, I have dropped my opinion of the manager. But that was 8 months ago. I had yet to come into contact with the store manager. This is for the Feeder Supply store in New Albany Indiana on State Street, just to be clear. We are also regular customers with your store because we love the Fromm dog food for our other dogs. Terrible Customer Service by Manager Maxwell My recent experience at Feeder Supply was absolutely appalling, all thanks to the store manager, Maxwell. My husband went in to look for puppy formula, something you'd expect a pet supply store to carry. Instead of offering assistance, Maxwell rudely dismissed him and claimed they didn't stock it, refused to help him when he asked if he could look up it's location so he could double check himself, and proceeded to speak with someone else, because "They don't carry anything for puppies, he already knows so he isn't going to go look". This turned out to be blatantly false, as a kind and helpful employee quickly located the formula for us. Her professionalism and willingness to help were the only redeeming aspects of our visit. Maxwell's behavior didn't stop there. While my husband was waiting to check out, Maxwell continued to show a complete disregard for customer service. He ignored several other customers who clearly needed help, rolling his eyes and using the intercom to call for someone else to assist. His attitude and refusal to engage with customers are unacceptable for someone in his position. Maxwell's rudeness and lack of customer care have left a terrible impression. This experience has made it clear that he could care less about the people who shop at this store. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and addresses his behavior to prevent future customers from enduring the same treatment.

The Store has plenty of parking, the staff is very friendly and helpful. You get in and out quick. They are very stocked. I go for all my fur babies.

Tobi-wan-kenobi absolutely shreds squeaky balls when I get them for him. I mean like it's his job! He's been chewing on one of their store brand sqeaky balls for a couple weeks now and its holding up!!

Bryan in fish department ROCKS!!! Small animals, fish, reptiles and other critters plus their proper care, he's the guy!!! Cool staff too!
