we just adopted sweet Mabel (previously Blanche) into our home from this shelter and had an amazing experience with them. The man working the dog area was extremely helpful and honest about all of the dogs we were looking at and worked with us to find the best match for our home. We had to wait a few days for some external paperwork to go through before adopting, and the rescue was so so understanding and helpful throughout the whole process- even offering for us to come in early on our adoption day since we had a long drive from NC to pick her up. overall extremely friendly and honest staff who truly want the best for these animals and could not have asked for a better experience ! Our new dog has been a perfect addition to our home so far and we could not have asked for a better pup :)

My family and I just adopted Carl and we’re so glad we did.❤️ The employees were honest about him still needing to be housebroke and trained, which we don’t mind but appreciated. He’s fitting in great so far.

Great experience adopting Ellie! They were so helpful with introducing our dog to her during a meet and greet and let us take our time. She is the sweetest pup. Would definitely recommend them and they take great care of their animals ❤️🐶

They were so wonderful when I had to surrender my dog today. I was a mess but they let me have some time with him to say goodbye I love how careful they are about who they let adopt these babies. I know Marley is in good hands and I will be sending them a donation next week to help them take care of all the babies in their shelter

Went to meet a pup named toshi, she was perfect for me and my fiancé, but just because we won't consent to a home check we are denied adopting her. We fell in love with toshi and she seemed to like us, but it seems the executive director only cares about snooping in business that shouldn't even matter as long as the pup is being taken care of properly.

They went out of their way to help me when I was adopting my adorable Rizzo Elora! They were very patient through the traveling difficulties that I had to get there. They were very kind, courteous and you knew they had a heart for all they were doing for these lovely animals finding them a forever home! 💕
