During consultation the Veterinarian explained the issue and procedure very clear and understood. Communication was very appreciated by calls, email, and text. My dog is home resting now. The surgical area looks very good. Very happy with the outcome. Veterinarians, assistants, and office staff were all very nice and welcoming.

I had to take my senior cat to the emergency vet, and unfortunately, he wasn't able to be treated without a lot of pain and suffering, if it even helped. His prognosis wasn't good at all, and we were heartbroken! The staff was great and supportive, and I really liked the vet! She let us know all our options and answered all our questions as we weighed our options for Sampson. This was my greatest fear for him when I saw he was sick, as I knew it wasn't good. After talking all our options over, we decided the best thing for him was euthanasia. They made a horrible situation the best it could have been and were there for us every step of the way. I definitely recommend Cascade Vet & Emergency Hospital and will use them again if any of my other animals need emergency care. My sweet boy was a rescue and declawed when I got him, but he is free to climb trees now and bask in the sun all day long! We all miss him so much, even the other animals! Luckily my dog came with us and was able to go inside and say goodbye before he passed, which I really appreciate them allowing!

The urgent care I called suggested I bring my dog here. The front desk is welcoming and friendly as were the vet techs and the Dr I saw with my dog Blue. Things couldn't have gone worse for her health, but it was nice to have friendly but straight forward information. They gave us meds and resources for our dog.

Dr. Wagner and his team are amazing 🤩. He was very detailed and thorough when explaining the surgery our dog needed and the staff took great care of her. Everyone was patient and answered all our questions and concerns. I would highly recommend of your dog needs orthopedic care!

The wait was 2 hours at 5am on a Sunday. Probably to be expected. The staff support; vet and techs were kind coupled with cost was outstanding. So fortunate for their location and services. Our Chihuahua got the care she needed and we trust their evaluation and treatment was appropriate to the situation.

Dear Dr. Howard - We would like to take this opportunity to make an attempt to put to words that which words cannot express. When we first came to see you, Lucia had injured her knee and we knew that she had a neurological condition that would make her recovery difficult and long term prognosis more challenging and costly. At the time of Lucia's first knee surgery, you also made us aware us that, even under the best circumstances, Lucia would likely have the need to repair her other knee within a couple of years. With full knowledge, we proceeded with the first surgery and like clockwork, her other knee needed repair within two years. The results of Lucia's surgeries have allowed Lucia to live a happy, comfortable and normal life. Far better then we ever imagined possible and we have never had the slightest regret. As you know, we absolutely love animals and feel a special bond and responsibility to the creatures in our care. From the moment we adopted Lucia, we also accepted the obligation to furnish her with the absolute best care and comfort we could provide and we found that with you. Over the course of our relationship, you have performed 5 surgeries that have saved our now 14 year-old puppy's life. TPLO operations on both knees, the removal of a cancerous tumor from her shoulder, the removal of a stomach tumor, and the removal of a cyst from her head. She has recovered quickly and perfectly every time. Without your help, we know that Lucia would not have survived, not to mention prosper over the years. You have saved her life over and over again therefore you are the super-hero of our family and we call you "Super Howard". Again, we believe that words simply cannot describe our gratitude and admiration for your knowledge and skill. You have helped our family in so many ways. Every time we take Lucia for a walk, we think to ourselves how fortunate we are to have met you. Often, several times a day, Lucia will come to ask to be stretched and we think of you. Every time she chooses to sleep in what would have otherwise been an impossible position, we think of you with great appreciation. It is with our deepest regret, and honestly complete devastation that we learned of your retirement. We certainly understand and support your choice. There is no other surgeon that we trust with the life of our only baby. Your extraordinary knowledge and talent is irreplaceable.
