All 3 of my dogs go to Hendricks. Most recently my 13 year old PAWS rescue had to have 10 teeth pulled a few of which had to be cut out. Also a dental cleaning. They done a masterful job I could not possibly rave enough!!! It couldn't have went more perfect. My senior has definitely regained a little pep in her step since. I highly recommend. If you are having question or second thought don't your baby will be in very capable hands.
I have been going to Dr. Hendrick’s office for 20+ years and have always loved the service and care given to my animals. The problem I’m having now is with some people at the front desk. 1.Now I’m always put on hold for several minutes, and have been disconnected often.2.I’ve made appointments with Dr. Hendricks twice specifically, only to find out when they scheduled me, he wasn’t working that day. 3. I received a reminder card in the mail that a rabies shot was due, but when I called I was told I would have to wait 2 months for an appointment. I ended up going to Pet Vac for the shot.4.Today I went to pick up my dog’s medicine only to discover that 1 prescription wasn’t given to me. ( I live 30 minutes away and couldn’t get back there before closing.) I want to say I absolutely love the vets. Dr. Hendricks and Dr. Miller are gems! Also the vet techs are awesome . It’s just been frustrating lately.
Update: We've continued to use this vet for our other animals, & they're always so kind & caring! Never a prob getting an appt either. Also, can't beat the prices! Was < $150 for our ~5 month old kitty's neuter, bordatella vax, & chip, with the neuter only about $60. Hard to find better prices & keep consistency of care anywhere. So happy we found this practice! Original review: Was referred here after our recent move, & they are awesome! Nice facility with friendly, knowledgeable staff & vets. The prices were really good, too. We'll be bringing all of our fur babies here going forward!
I've been using Hendricks since Dr Miller came from other vet .We followed him because he acted as if he cared. What I've noticed lately is, that it seems more like you're just a number instead of a customer. The ladies that answer phones are kinda rude, they tell times to be there and that's a waste of time. I made an appointment last Friday for Monday at 9 am, for Dr Miller to come out to my vehicle to give my dog a shot for arthritis, 45 minutes later ,still sitting in parking lot. 86 degrees. Call back to office to make sure he knows that I was there, the lady that answered the phone was kinda rude ,saying he's with someone else, kinda like my dog wasn't important. Not only to mention the money I spend there yearly on my dogs . My dogs are like my children. Also I made a call to Hendricks this morning before leaving to make sure everything and time was good, and was told sure ,come on . The bottom line is, I had to make plans, load dogs, be there on time, and I end up getting no help, and now going to look for a different vet ,that may actually care. When you only have two vet Dr and all those customers, they really care less, it's all about the money. I also have refered a lot of other people to Hendricks, but that will change, because people listen to me about pets and veterinarians, because they know how much I care for animals.
So the day after Thanksgiving we had to sadly put down our beloved 14 yr old American Bulldog/Boxer. The Hendricks Team was nothing but phenomenal for our sweet love. We've all been suffering without her for the holidays but the fact you guys took the time our of your busy days to make us feel a little more special and like family means more than you could know. Were super thankful for you guys. MERRY CHRISTMAS HENDRICKS BET HOSPITAL WE ARE FOREVER GREATFUL FOR YOU ALL ♡
I have given this office multiple chances on numerous occasions and have been disappointed each time. Im done with this place. I took my little fur baby in for some bloody stool. They did do lab work and scans and sent us home with some medications. However we had to call for pain medication and asked for fluids which were we told he didn’t need. Approx. 6 hours later we were at emergency hospital with him getting fluids which could have been avoided if they had listened to his owners. I’m not a vet but I know my baby and have medical background so I know a thing or two. Lesson learned! Shout out to Magnolia Emergency vet for getting our baby back to normal.
