If i could give less than 1 star i would. Three different times we tried adopting different animals from here, and three different times they had one excuse after another for why we couldn't. First time we didn't even get a chance to get an appointment to meet the dog we wanted because they adopted him out to the first people that had an appointment ahead of us. Second time we were told there were several applicants ahead of us and that they'd let us know if the second dog we wanted was still available, and a couple days later we got a nasty phone call and voicemail telling us we missed an appointment to meet the dog, when a) we never even made an appointment because we were told we couldn't due to so many people supposedly ahead of us, b) they made the appointment without even telling us about it, and c) the appointment was at a time we wouldn't have made it for because we wouldn't have been able to make it there at that time. And most recently, we made an appointment for another dog, but when we got there we were told that the dog had been adopted already a few days prior yet nobody bothered to call us to tell us our appointment had been cancelled, only to find out that the dog had ACTUALLY been adopted almost 2 weeks later, so they lied to us. One time, it's unfortunate, twice may be a coincidence and bad timing. But 3 times is a pattern and just flat-out bad business practice. They do not take bad reviews well as they have blocked us on Facebook after we publicly commented on their terrible practices.

Adopted a yorkshire terrier. Staff did due diligence checking me out, scheduled meet n greet for 2 dogs. Amazing staff, very cordial, lots of questions. Asked if I wanted to bring my schnauser to meet the dog. Knew from interaction, Bruce would blend well. Took him home that day. Hickory is his new name.Took photos of my home yard, dog food to share with staff. Great caring folks

Very nice people! They are helping us adopt some cats we rescued, and they have been so helpful, when it's been hard to get help with other agencies! Thank you so much!

Adopted Sheddy Roosevelt (fka Meatball) here about a year ago. Came in just to start looking for a cat, and ended up with this loveable clown. While the staff/volunteers did seem a bit disorganized, they were all incredibly kind and the facility was very clean.
