Unprofessional, rude/unpleasant, and lazy technicians and office staff! I HATE unprofessional unpleasant rude customer service! The vet was very professional and helpful; BUT the technicians and office staff were ridiculously unpleasant, lazy, and unprofessional! I gave 2 STARS because the vet was very good, BUT the rest of the staff was unprofessional, lazy, and ignorant…terrible customer service skills! Huge difference in professionalism between the vet (who customer mainly comes to see for their professional help) and the UNPROFESSIONAL, LAZY, IGNORANT office staff and technicians! The office staff and technicians were busy socializing instead of helping. Also, they had bad attitudes when I addressed the issue to them…super stubborn, ignorant, lazy, and arrogant! The office was not busy on weekday afternoon with customers so there is no excuse for not being more helpful to only customer with appointment. I tried to address the staff with feedback and criticism…and the staff became even more irate and defensive! Use the golden rule and be welcoming and understanding and helpful to customers and the staff will not get negative feedback. Treat customers with pleasantness/respectfulness from the moment customer enters the office and staff will not have toxic work environment and upset customers!

The highest of thanks & praise to Dr. Grant (Dr.Whistler on his days off) & the WHOLE TEAM that went ABOVE & BEYOND in helping my 8 month old puppy (& anxious me) through the last week when she had a reaction to the Anesthesia or pain meds after surgery. They cared for her in an above & beyond manner & even made her a body garment to cover the incision & tie the cone to it so she could not remove the cone!!!!! Could not believe the high level of care they gave her & the courtesy & understanding of my calls they treated me with!!!! If you want a place that goes above & beyond in caring for your pet & working with you through difficult situation, this is the doctor & team!!!! My forever gratitude & thanks. She’s doing well at home now to finish her recovery.

Today was very difficult but through it all Dr. Grant and this entire team is fantastic. I will see my fur baby again and will recommend this hospital to anyone who asks. I want to say a special thank you to the ladies at the front desk, especially the kind hearted lady with the red hair so kind, compassionate, and understanding. Mrs. Debra who was able to take the time on Monday to get my fur baby the help and care she needed in that critical time. Hunter, for going above and beyond the call of duty. You are outstanding! To any staff member I might have forgotten you are always remembered to us. Dr. Grant, thank you for being so kind and thoughtful throughout the entire process. Explaining everything and being honest but real for both our hearts (mine and hers). Knowing and accepting but having that compassion to help mend is truly a gift. We had to put our sweet 11 yo cat Pip down today. I just want to say a huge THANK YOU to Dr. Grant and Hanna for their wonderful compassion and support through such a difficult time. Hanna you are superb at your job and it is noticed. I love this vet center and would highly recommend 100%!

My first visit with Shelby County Hospital was wonderful. Hannah helped get all my questions answered and was wonderful with my dogs. She also made sure I got a quote for the extra vaccinations I was scheduling and the heart worm prevention method options! Dr. Morse was kind and helpful and answered any questions I had. I felt that my babies were in good hands!

Everyone here is great! We have been taken our two dogs to Shelby Center Hospital for around two years now. They are so friendly and sweet with our dogs. The technicians are awesome and all the doctors we have seen so far, Dr. Grant, and Dr. Ambrose are all fantastic. They take time to listen and treat our four-leg kids with so much care and patience. We love them!
