5 stars bed, bathroom, chapel, cafeteria, food is delicious and served the same time 3x a day everyday. They are amazing just for that alone. The employees are awesome very friendly and aren't rude or authoritarian when telling you something. Its easy to follow the rules and do a chore once a week. This place is CLEAN! and SAFE! Thank you god for providing this safe haven.

This is where I donate my clothes and house hold good. They are great. I drive up and they come over and unload and provide me with a receipt for taxes. They are awesome. Fyi they don't take furniture.

I have the privilege of sharing the gospel at this place several times a month and I don't know if there's a greater institution outside the church itself that is coming alongside those that are going through tough times. The leadership of the Union Gospel mission is the key key and they are exemplary.....

They have denied at least 4 people who met qualifications just because they had service animals with the proper certifications. And they let people vape in the halls with no consequences

They have a huge parkinglot. Yet their customers dont own cars. They have a fence around property. Dont allow ppl to camp there. So the businesses arond them have to deal with the ppl they attract. Starting fires and stealing.

I am not reviewing, but I want everyone to remember, not everyone is going to like places like these, especially if those who are complaining might be addicted and/or down and out who see the glass half empty are saying things like "its like jail" or "the volunteers are too selfish." Please keep an open mind and see for yourself because if you need help and you want off the street or out of your addiction, wouldn't you do what it takes to be successful? I am not saying that you should be abused in any way, but there is nothing wrong with a place like this having strict boundaries and requirements. Also, this place is a ministry that may not have the funding to make it a 5 star resort like some complained about on here. Its a place to go, to be off the street, to get some food and help to hopefully becoming sober one day and having a normal, decent way of life. Oh and there is nothing wrong with being required to attend church services or praying because everyone has a Jesus shaped hole in their heart that we tend to try and fill with everything else but Jesus, but what do you have to lose? Did anything else you tried work? If most of the reviews on here are good and a couple bad, what does that say?
