My husband and I went in to find a kitten. The staff was very helpful and welcoming. They were running a $50 special for all animals. We were encouraged to handle any of the cats we wanted to look at. When we had made our choice the adoption process was simple and fast. The facility seemed very clean and organized.

Saw a couple of small dogs when we found one that we liked. Went to the front desk to inform the staff that we picked a dog and was told that they couldn't let us adopt it. 😢 All of the small dogs couldn't be adopted for a couple of days. The staff could have told us that before we went in. A little bit of information before we went in would of help...

Went in to see about a possible pup. The place apparently was flooded so what they did was put the dogs In crates in the hallway ( that's fine no issue ) however it was incredibly hot in there and they had absolutely no ventilation for these poor animals. While there the front desk worker goes on to admit how "oh yeah this dog technically died while on the table getting neutered and we had to resuscitate her" I get that this happens but please why say this when there are kids right infront of you? It's just really weird. Unfortunately, I can not now adopt from this place. Please do note this is a review on the people running the place. Please do rescue and give these pups a chance!

This shelter is kinda smelly but I come here to give all the puppies love. They have kittens, cats, dogs and puppies, they all need and deserve a good home, and family. 💔

Darcy and her team are amazing! I saw Indiana in a post and knew he was meant to be my boy. I flew to Washington from Indiana to pick him up. Everyone at the shelter was so accommodating and helpful. We had a rough first night on the road…Darcy stayed on the phone with me for almost an hour reassuring me that all would be well. We are finally home and my boy is doing great! Thank you to everyone at Tri-Cities who took such great care of this wonderful creature.
