This place is a blessing 🙌 We needed to get our new girl bunny (Cake Pop) spayed at 3 1/2 years old. Rebecca (not sure if I'm spelling that right) was so intelligent about rabbits ( I've noticed that other animal hospitals are not). She also made us feel much less anxious about the surgery. They called us after her bloodwork was done to let us know it wasn't a "high risk" procedure. They also called right after the surgery to let us know it went well. They were great about letting us know the cost before the surgery. We had the opportunity to meet Dr. Rugg, who was absolutely amazing. Also, the front desk receptionist was extremely kind. To me, it's very important to find a veterinary hospital that is not only extremely knowledgeable about what they're doing but also offer kindness. This place is definitely the BEST veterinary location I've ever visited. I am extremely grateful to Dr. Rugg and Rebecca for taking great care of Cake Pop and giving such a wonderful experience!

I've gone back & forth whether to write this review, but ultimately realize I would like to have this information when choosing a vet. This happened in 2022. My 4 year old cat needed dental extractions & sadly passed away in their care after the surgery was completed, so while I won't speculate what happened for liability reasons, I will say the aftermath felt uncaring & about getting paid. They still charged me a good portion of the cost & on top of that the cremation fees. Needless to say, we immediately switched our pets to a new vet.

I'm honestly not sure where to even start with this review as my list of cons far outweigh my list of pros. This vet and especially their receptionist should truly be ashamed of themselves for the way they treat their customers. -For starters, their receptionist should absolutely NOT be working there. There has never been a single time where I have called or went into the vet where I did not witness the receptionist either be rude to me or another customer. Her unprofessional, condescending tone and utter lack of care and compassion really makes me question how or why she is even in this field of work. I've witnessed her vent to ME and bash customers after getting off the phone with them. -They have double booked me and canceled on me SEVERAL times and never once did they apologize for the inconvenience. Instead, they just give you more attitude. I once rushed all the way from SF to get my cat to his appointment just to get there and they had already gone home for the day - no call or apology was ever made. In fact, it was never even acknowledged. I also had a very ill cat that needed surgery and they relentlessly tried to reschedule her yet AGAIN, until I finally stood my ground for my cat who they didnt seem to be the slightest concerned about. - They will remind you ONE week prior to their vaccines expiring, knowing that their appointment backlog is longer than that... so they refused to give my cat his bi-monthly medication because he had to have his wellness check first. Very unorganized. -I have had prescription orders get cancelled on me from Chewy because they just did not respond to me or Chewy with the approval paperwork. All this to say, this has been the worst vet experience I've had and I'm ashamed that I've even stuck around this long to continue to deal with this vet. They really need to reevaluate their business and why they do what they do. It has been such a frustrating and disheartening experience. I wouldn't recommend this vet to anyone.

The Front Desk office staff are rude. When you call them they put you on a 20 minute hold. When they finally pick up they barely let you get a word in. I wasn’t even able to describe my pets problem before the secretary cut me off and said we’re booked through the next 2 months. The conversation continued in a similar tone where she repeatedly cut me off and refused to offer any solutions. When I did bring my pet in for our scheduled appointment I was forced to wait for nearly an hour to be seen. No apology was issued for the delay. The Doctor who owns this clinic should really consider hiring customer oriented staff instead of these DMV wait-room workers. If you’re looking for a great vet, Companion Animal Hospital is amazing. It’s just down the street. We will be moving all of our pets over there.

Dr. Dimov goes above and beyond in his approach, combining precision in treatment with clear communication and empathy. I drive three hours back and forth to his office so my dog would receive top-notch care, and I have peace of mind knowing my pup is in capable and caring hands.
