Lady is rude and difficult to speak with. I own several indoor, pet rabbits. Just asked for a recommendation or suggestion she may have for bunny related products in the area. Without asking me any questions, she just assumed I was ignorant and very much gave the impression that no one in the world takes care of rabbits better than her. Which I wasn't even suggesting, I just asked if she knew of a place to buy a bunny care product. Lady, don't assume the worst in people. You seem very bitter and I see I'm not the first person you've spoken to like this. Only reason I gave 2 stars instead of 1 is because at least you're saving precious bunnies.

I pickup a beautiful holland lop doe to bond with my neutered buck. She's doing great right now and loves her new space. HOWEVER..... I wish the manager (she can be difficult to talk to) explained the process of adopting a bunny over phone instead of driving 3 hours and finding out for myself. I had to wait 2 hours for my bunny to bond with the adopted bunny I was interested in, though they bonded within the first 30-45 minutes. Yes, the bunny comes first but at least communicate that over phone of what the process entails, the contract details and fees, and expectations to adopt a bonded bunny. Also, she should've mentioned that she that she was going to charge me an additional $30 for a bag of rabbit pellets. I never 100% agreed to buy her rabbit food (it's not on the contract) but I really wanted to get out of there so I took that charge. I looked up the same food online and it's actually $25. She should've just recommended me the food rather than slap the charge on top of the adoption fee. She did give me some hay and treats so that makes up for it. But again, COMMUNICATE this over the phone. I love my adopted holland and all of her bunnies are healthy and well taken care of when compared to other bunny rescues I visited. But the process could've been easier.

People like the ladies at Bunny Lu are among the unsung heroes of this world. Mary Ellen took the time to pair me with two rabbits and made sure that I was beyond set up for success. I now have two happy buns sprawled across pillows on my bedroom floor! Thanks so much.
