Description We are a non-profit organization that works to socialize and train dogs in the community. One of the main ways we have a positive impact on the community is we offer training for therapy dogs and connect with schools, medical facilities, libraries, etc. to bring therapy dogs to their site for free.

We enrolled our rescue pup at PPK9 for training and socialization. He attends socialization classes twice weekly and we are extremely pleased! He is able to “play” with his friends, both furry and human and at the same time receives basic training. He also is enrolled in one on one training and what he learns is carried over in the socialization setting to reinforce good behavior and skills. Shelli is an excellent trainer. We highly recommend her. All the staff and volunteers at PPK9 are truly invested in their mission and serving the community and they love their work and the dogs! The board of directors and staff are fully committed to providing a great service. We are very pleased with PPK9! Also your pup will come home after socialization happy and “worn out” 🤣❤️❤️

I have been involved with this group since November 2022, my dog is always happy to be there and is tired when she comes home! I have started therapy dog training and the results are evident almost immediately with the suggestions we have gotten. Leash walking is a game changer!

Our dog Fergus received his AKC Canine Good Citizens training from PPK9A and therapy dog training. The PPK9A team provides socialization which positively reinforces training and good behavior. We receive compliments on Fergus wherever we go - all thanks to the good work done by this dedicated team.

Our Gracie just loves going to her socialization! I love that she gets to help others and they also get to enjoy her! Best place for your pup to learn to be a pup!
