If you don't love your vet, you should! I don't like standing in line. I don't even like driving across town, but it's not only painless, it's a pleasure to visit Dr. Poling. He's a compassionate, affordable, no-nonsense vet. I scheduled an appt. to have some concerning lumps on my dog checked out but what I received was a complete nose to tail inspection! Dr. Poling got down on the floor (sparing my dog the terrifying table) checked his ears, eyes, teeth, belly & butt while discussing the normal & noticeable signs of my aging pet. We discussed seasonal allergies, necessary medications and various topicals to heal a hot spot (open wound caused by a number things like anxiety or allergies). He eventually took needle-samples of the scary bumps and explained why [in my dog's case] there's nothing to worry about. Dr. Poling has great bedside manner and a genuinely caring staff! I highly recommend his clinic and care. *I'm using a food-grade tea tree oil+water mixture to clear up the hot spot

Prairie Creek was extremely accommodating. My bulldog was sick for a few days and I messaged the clinic by email. They were very responsive in getting back to me and asking to bring my dog in. I was worried about the cost but they have extremely affordable rates. He not only got a prescription for his illness but also his 2 year shots. Thank you to a place that genuinely cares.

Excellent clinic! The staff are so friendly with animals and people. Somehow I want to just go hang out here because everyone is so friendly. Had my Golden spayed here and done regular checkups/shots and the clinic is great to work with. Dr. Poling is amazing. I think it takes a special set of skills to be so good with both animals and people, and he’s got it.

I wanted to add our very positive experiences here. We’ve been coming here for the past year for our chihuahua’s care. Not only is Dr. Poling exceptionally experienced, but he is detail-oriented and looks at the entire health picture of the pet. As a fellow physician, I’m truly impressed with the depth of knowledge and ability to care for patients who can’t even speak. The staff here are phenomenal as well and are so gentle and kind with my tiny 7lb dog. I feel really lucky I discovered this place!

Best veterinarian around! Everyone from the front desk team to the doctors are fantastic. They've provided great care for newly adopted dogs, to end of life advice and care to everything in between. They also have very reasonable pricing.

If you love your dog DO NOT come here! The doctor is an older gentleman that is super rough with dogs. My dog is a mixed pit and has never been aggressive or bit anyone. This doctor kept pulling him, grabbing him hard without any regards of my dog not feeling comfortable. I asked him to let me know where he wanted my dog as I had treats but he brushed me off and kept forcing himself on my dog grabbing his paws, poking his teeth with no regards that my dog was very anxious. I let the doctor know many times to please stop being rough but he did not stop. His continuous rude behavior got my dog to bark at him. He then told his assistant to bring a muzzle. That was when I had it! He said my dog was going to bite him. Are you kidding me? You are being rough with him, i asked you to stop touching and poking him, of course he is going to get stressed and bark. I had to walk out and ask the doctor to let my dog go because he was still holding him. What the heck is wrong with this man?? Is he really a vet?? I have never experience this! That doctor was HORRIBLE! He seems to hate animals by the way he treated mine. I hope no one ever comes to this hospital and they close it down. I go to Thrive pet market and came here due to a recommendation from a friend for an allergy shot. Worst mistake!!!!! I hope this doctor is held accountable for his actions. I cannot image him doing any procedures on any pet. He did mention using tranquilizers and was horrible to his assistant. If you were thinking of going please save yourself the trauma this doctor can do to your animal!
