I wish I could give Walnut Grove Animal Hospital 10 stars! My cat Alvin had CKD and was extremely stressed at our previous vet, often hiding from us. After switching to Walnut Grove, Alvin became calm and enjoyed the rest of his days with us. Over a weekend, Alvin's condition worsened, and the team at Walnut Grove was exceptional. Dr. Rattan, who was Alvin's doctor, came back from his day off to handle the emergency and was incredibly humane in helping us through the difficult decision to put Alvin down. Their meticulousness in explaining all details and options was immensely comforting during such a hard time. I highly recommend Walnut Grove Animal Hospital to all pet owners. They genuinely care for your pets, and their charges are much more economical compared to other vets. Thank you, Dr. Rattan, for your compassion and dedication.

I would like to thank Dr Garg & his caring friendly team for taking care of Hamish during his neutering procedure he seems to be doing really well. Dr Garg has a wonderful calm & caring nature & as we all want the best for our fur babies I felt very comfortable leaving Hamish in his care, that was the hard part for me lol, so thank you once again.

I've come here over the last 5 years to primarily get pet food once in a while. Each time I've come here asking for help locating a product I've received terrible customer service. The shorter lady with glasses who runs the counter continuously gives unnecessary attitude. Today I asked for help she said we don't carry that product as she orders the stock for the location. My wife and I have both purchased this food in the past from here. Instead of helping she walked off. Keep in mind I always greet her and ask how she's doing and still get the same response. I'd like to say everyone has a bad day sometimes. Unfortunately my wife gets the same treatment each visit. Furthermore on occasion she will make you wait while she continues on the phone with personal phone calls. While I sympathize with others and understand may be going through the trials of life it's equally not acceptable to ignore repeat clients. I can't speak for the vet services and their quality. I would much rather drive out of my way to give my business to a more respectful storefront.

I have had a positive experience at Walnut Grove Animal Hospital with both of my dogs! Most recently, my dog had surgery for a severe aural hematoma. They treated her promptly and compassionately and patiently answered many of my follow up questions. My dog wouldn’t settle over thanksgiving weekend and the vet was very kind in giving me instructions even after hours and followed up with an appropriate treatment plan that really worked. She is 7 years old & is happy and healing well. I do recommend this clinic! Thank you all!!

I would not recommend this place. I was upsold a blood test, which ended up costing $600.The doctor, who has a very strong accent and is very terrible to understand, who mumbled and beats around the bush, is terrible at explaining things, I swear Justin Trudeau makes more sense than this guy, and that is not saying much! I told the receptionist I didn't understand the doctor very well and what needed to be done, and I asked him if he can send me an e-mail so we can read it and understand it more clearly. She then proceeds to just hand the phone to the doctor again, which lead me to not understand him at all again. I felt uneasy with this doctor and trusted my gut, so I went to a different vet. The new vet asked which office I went so they can contact them to obtain our dog's lab results and his health records. I got a call back from the new vet, stating that, they have no records of my dog going to this office at all and could not provide the new Vet with anything. Luckily I asked for his results previously and was saved in my E-mail so I can forward to the new Vet. I was right into thinking that this doctor is trying to reach into my pocket. The new vet explained everything and went in detail what each thing meant on the results. She recommended not to do an ultrasound or a biopsy like this doctor recommended, and instead do another more cheaper test to verify before doing thing that are more evasive. Overall this office felt like the liberal government. Totally in disarray, won't provide clear answers, and interested in taking advantage of you. Don't have to believe me, just trust your gut!
