The people who work there are amazing and incredible. We recently adopted a rescue dog and she has been an angel. LAPS does incredible work for this city.

We applied for a cat in July 26th, and our application was changed to "processing" but we didn't receive a call. On July 27th we decided to stop in to see if we could meet the cat and we were told no, she's in another building but someone will call you. August 2nd I sent an email to follow up, no response. It's now August 8th and I still haven't received a call, yet LAPS is advertising half price adoption fees because they're too full. I wonder why???

Wait weeks after filling out an adoption application for a kitten to be notified from a no reply email address with a vague message saying we weren’t selected. No reason why, just a generalized rejection letter, no phone call, no follow up, nothing. How they choose who to adopt their animals out I do not know.. a lottery system perhaps? I for one will not bother filling out another application from a place like this again. 👎🏻

Took part in Laps Easter Fundraiser Event, it was amazing! The organizers did a great job, and the staff and volunteers at LAPS are lovely, dedicated, good human beings. Thank you for including us!

We go out of our way to stop here EVERY time we visit Aldergrove . . . We believe it is important to socialize the Kittens by visiting through the windows . . . And it helps us understand how quickly they get adopted !

Clean shelter lots of space for dogs to run in their kennels. They have rooms for cats to play in and a separate cat condo! Unfortunately, they have many cute cats and some lovely dogs and pups that need their forever home. And the workers and volunteers are doing their best. But they need the public's help in donations, money, etc every little bit helps 😁. And today we lucky to see a Red Carpet event where a lovey dog walked down the red carpet to his forever home. And there was a red carpet placed for him. 🥰
