I was walking in the forest today and my dogs noticed a raccoon off the main trail that was hanging upside down in a tree with his foot caught. We tried to help him but couldn’t release his foot. We called Critter Care Wildlife Society and they answered the phone right away, took down my info and asked for a few pictures. A volunteer arrived quickly and we hiked back in and she was able to release the raccoon’s foot and we got him in the crate to then go for care. Amazing response and I was so grateful for the help as it was not option to leave that poor raccoon as he would have died for sure. Thank you Critter Care. I made a donation a few weeks ago and I will be supporting this wonderful organization regularly.
We had an injured racoon in our back yard for two days. Critter Care came out promptly upon contacting them. Their volunteer worked carefully to gently place the animal in her kennel. We are thankful for her efforts and skills. Making a donation now.
Had a baby skunk abandoned by mom stuck in my basement window well, they had a volunteer come out on short notice to help remove the skunk in a humane calm manner within 2 hours of calling. Amazing volunteers doing this!
Had a squarille got hurt by our mouse trap, called them and they have volunteer help us to deliver the squarille. Thank you for the help!
Simply amazing. Had a possibly blind abandoned young racoon in my yard for a couple days. Person on the phone quickly took down my information and asked for a couple photos, few more follow up questions after. Within an hour a great group of volunteers came and picked him up easily without a struggle. Absolutely thrilled to know he's going to be safe and get the help he needs.
I have an injured racoon that can't walk or use its hands properly. I had sent a video in of this injured racoon which they are supposed to come help. They sent someone the day before but they took far too long to get here and the racoon left. I called the next day and spoke to an Australian girl who was most UNHELPFUL!!!! Aruged with me wanted me to send another video said she Will decide in her opinion. She was rude unhelpful and worst she is leaving an I judged racoon on my doorstep. What a shady organization can't say enough bad things about them and this your girl .. Disgusting!!!!!
