We had a wonderful experience with both Sierra and Dr. Bille. They both explained a lot of important information to us regarding living in Arizona (we moved here from PA) and our senior dog Jasper. We were very happy with our visit. So glad we chose San Tan Animal Hospital.

As the chair of a national dog rescue, I have worked with many vets across the country. For my own 3 Havanese, there is no place that could be better than San Tan. From the front desk staff, to the techs and every vet we've met, everyone is helpful, positive, professional and collaborative. Dr Bille is our "regular vet" and we think so highly of her. Her commitment to good health and quality of life for pets is so obvious. She is very knowledgeable but also listens carefully to what we have to say. We feel completely secure and comfortable taking our own dogs - even our 18 1/2 year old - to Dr. Bille and the rest of the San Tan group. You could not find a better group!

San Tan Animal Hospital I would highly recommend. We moved here 3 months ago, our Golden was needing all shots. I didn’t want her to have all at one time so we did return for a second time for the second set of shots. Both times we had an amazing Vet and technician. They were very compassionate and treated our puppy with respect, didn’t rush up to her but made her feel comfortable before doing the exam. Charley was very comfortable and happy the whole time we were there. Highly recommend the services they offer. Charley is our baby so we don’t trust just anyone and she lets us know if things don’t feel right.

Funny I have zero problem with any of the vets but as soon as the manager, KRISTIE, enters the equation all hell breaks lose. This woman is married to the vet that owns the place and uses her position to abuse anyone she doesn't like. She has literally screamed at me over the phone and berated me at length. I have 7 cats I bring here. Today I was told I could not go into the room with my senior, frail cat for a blood draw- something I have always been allowed to do. This was after a 45 minute wait and my cat was already stressed. Kristy did this to hurt me. It started when I brought a homeless cat in that was sick. Kristy took the cat from me saying it belonged to a cat shelter- DESERT CAT SANCTUARY -then berated me over the phone when I questioned why the cat was in such a bad state of health. I had taken the homeless cat into my house for ten days. Then Kristy instructed her staff to deny me any information about that cats well being. Why? She has a business relationship with said cat shelter whereby they bring all their animals to san tan veterinary hospital, so was protecting them because they lost a cat. Not one thank you from her for saving the cats life, instead, Kristy brow-beat me over the phone telling me to apologize to the cat shelter for telling them they did wrong by the cat. Unbelievable. On another occasion, I was called by Kristy and brow-beat for 20 minutes and my appointment cancelled because the day before my phone kept cutting off ( bad cell service) and the desk staff complained that I was somehow rude because my phone cut off. As a consequence, I had to reschedule and treatment for my frail cat delayed. And today, the final straw, I toss a pen back on the counter after writing something on a bill and am accused by the girl of throwing a pen AT her- a complete lie Then this girl raises her voice at me, making a scene. My cat was SCREAMING during the blood draw I heard it. This went on for almost 15 minutes -- for what should have taken a few minutes. Then the tech lied to me saying my cat never screamed. I KNOW my cats scream. Now I know why she didn't want me there- they're obviously not very good at pulling blood and probably stuck my cat repeatedly. I was always allowed to go in with Sheba because she's super sensitive. It's unfortunate, because now I have to move my 7 cats to another vet-- and my sister and niece WILL be moving their animals as well. I told my neighbor who has 2 cats and 2 dogs and she may follow suit. I understand Dr Darger has complaints against him with the Az Vet board, so I guess this clinic isn't as good as I thought. And I heard a vet there broke a dog's jaw while extracting a tooth. The owners wife takes advantage of her position. And the desk staff are stressed because the greedy owners pay them $18 hour and work them into the ground, so they snap over the slightest issue. Kristy also double-charged for an emergency visit over a year ago. Kristy claimed there was no record of any visit. Today the desk staff magically finds the receipt after I tried several times to get one from the ever- charming, Kristy. I don't need to be abused to get veterinarian care for my cats. Kristy and most of front desk are the rudest nastiest people I ever encountered. There have been mishaps there - broken dog jaws and other situations - and I attribute them to understaffing and management pushing vets to do too much too fast They rush around frantic and stressed. Overbooked and understaffed. I am SO glad I cancelled Shebas teeth surgery. I was warned by several people that a vet broke a dog's jaw during surger, & another damaged a dogs nerve and his tongue hangs out of his mouth which won't close - -- and stop abusing customers like myself who rescue numerous homeless pets ( all my cats were homeless rescues), because they want to (gasp) know what happened to a cat they rescued, or want to be in the room with their frail elderly cat They charge outrageous fees, underpay and overwork their staff and repeatedly treated me like garbage

I really like Dr Oetke she is vey thorough and seems to truly care for my Dog. I don’t feel like they are pushing unnecessary test and such like I’ve experienced elsewhere. They also have been able to squeeze me in for same day appointments twice now for emergency isssues. I really appreciate that. I don’t like having to go to a Dr I don’t know especially in an emergency. :)
