Place is clean and well stocked. Plenty of friendly staff. My furry companion always enjoys her trips to PetSmart, especially the treat on the way out.
This review is based off of principle. We’ve been going here for 2+ years. We are ALWAYS on time!! We have had times where we have had to wait 30+ minutes for the employees to show up. We have had times where we have had to wait longer than the allotted time for our dog to be ready. Today, we got stuck in traffic in a bad accident and we called to let them know we would be about 10 minutes late. We ended up being 20 minutes late. Petsmart charged us an extra $10 as a “you’re late” charge. It’s not about the $10, but seriously. I’ll make sure to have our “you’re late” charge ready for the next time they are behind. Come on…not a good look for regular customers.
We set an appointment for our dog to get groomed. And they waited until we drove a half an hour to the location just to tell us they're not going to groom her. Like alright cool if youre not skilled enough to handle a little 16 lb dog thats scared of clippers fine whatever. But to have us waste gas driving there and back and wasting an hour of our day is 100 unprofessional. Would NOT recommend because obviously their communication is VERY MUCH LACKING! very disappointed petsmart!
This review is about the pet hotel specifically. We have used petsmart pet hotels all over the west for years, and no problems. But, recently we used this one for a few boardings and it was a disaster... they confirmed a "suite" (actual room). But after the fact I found out our dog was locked up in a small cage both times!! And it still cost almost 100.00 a night!! They blamed the call center for the "error" but I call b.s. when you get a confirmation you assume it's a done deal... then they did a bait and switch and charged the same amount. I actually called the store number directly but they said, " oh, it automatically gets sent to the call center". I know this isn't true because I've been booking with them for years and know there are separate numbers. They claimed the "suites" have been booked up for the last 2 months, yet they never said that when I booked. I spoke to the hotel manager, Mona, and she was full of excuses and was pretty rude and unprofessional. Looking at some of the other reviews, I can't believe any of these people still work there. Well, petsmart, you lost a good customer... never again!!
Took my dog in for the quick wash as the sign said no appointment necessary. It turns out you need an appointment. Totally false advertising. The staff super unfriendly too. Would never take my dog there as the staff all miserable and very rude.
I called at 9:00 am and asked if they had an inflatable doughnut style cone in stock as my Pug had surgery today. They had 2 in stock, so I asked if they could hold one for me, that I could pick up after work, before I picked up my pup. I was told no, that if someone came in and wanted both, they had to sell them both. I went in and purchased one, and when I opened it, it was used with dog slobber and hair all over and it smelled. I called and asked if they could put the other one up front for me to exchange and I was told no. When I got back to the store, the other one was gone, so I was stuck with the dirty, used one. Horrible customer service! If something that is made of material is returned, it should be discarded, not resold. Also, why not hold the second one in stock for 15 minutes? I will say that both times I spoke to someone in the phone, it was a male, however, I don’t remember his name. My female cashier was lovely and felt bad when I returned to exchange the item.
