Loved every part of the experience with this animal hospital! Even though I’m visiting from out of town, it was so easy to book a new appointment online. Everyone was so nice, very professional. The space is clean and you can see their ‘back work area’ from the front lobby through a glass. They’re transparent on everything! I had to go into two different times due to flared allergies for my 2yr old puppy. I worked with two different doctors (Wrampelmier and Rains) - they were both very knowledgable and caring. They also asked me what would work best for me as far as treatment plan goes and if the total price was doable for my budget. Really appreciate the transparency all around. They also gave a personalized dog tag, which was a very nice added touch!

We just moved from another state to Texas, we have two dogs, one senior German Shepherd with hip dysplasia and a Golden Doodle who is, well, a doodle, you just know... ;) We took our GSD in as he needed his monthly pain injection along with a refill on one of his anti-inflammatory medications. It is an extremely clean facility, and I love that you are able to see everything. The staff, vet techs, and the veterinarian we/our pet saw were very thorough, thoughtful, they listened to our concerns, suggested a couple of things that we haven't tried that may help him. He didn't react when they manipulated his hind legs which his last vets haven't done In some time. He also did well for his nail trims, I was impressed, I watched through a window, I didn't let him see me. We are just very impressed with the care and concern shown for our pet, we have already set up our next two monthly pain injection appointments, on the September one he will be getting his vaccinations as well. We also have scheduled our appointment for our Golden Doodle to meet them, have his first appointment and get his vaccinations that are due mid September. We intend to stay with them and would highly recommend them for all your pet needs.

Loved this Vet clinic. My dog is pretty shy and everyone we encountered was very friendly and welcoming. I was ignorant not knowing you needed an appointment, but they worked me in anyway (so thankful for that). Everyone was very transparent with prices of service and gave me options best suited for my budget and wellbeing of my pet. I am very grateful for the staff and the service I was provided. Will be coming back in the future if needed. 10/10 recommend

I had to have my 14 yr old pup put to sleep yesterday because she was suffering from congestive heart failure. It was one of the hardest things I've ever had to do. Dr Rains and the entire staff were so understanding, patient and compassionate. Dr Rains was so empathetic, sympathetic and kind, he explained exactly what was going on with my precious pup and gave me all the straightforward options. It was a complete blessing to have the strong assurance from a caring professional when your heart doesn't want to let go. Thank you Dr Rains and staff for your kindness during such a difficult decision.

We've had such a great experience with Firehouse, both the vet and the pet resort. Dr. McCann is so kind and ensures you get all your questions answered. She and the staff are so communicative even via email when I have a question. I'm grateful we found a vet we can trust and who truly cares for our pup!

Firehouse has always taken such great care of our girls! Our shepherd hates the Vet but the team here treats her with so much love and care that we feel so comfortable bringing her here everytime. For a dog that’s 12 yrs old, she’s so well cared for with everyone here. As for our 1.5 year old, she’s an attention seeker and absolutely loves everyone here and they always love her back, with all her skin problems included haha. We will always make the drive from San Antonio because we always receive top notch care from everyone here. Thanks for always taking care of our girls! :)
