Today at the 2nd day of February of 2024 Lindow and I celebrated 6 months from graduating and becoming a lifelong partnership of new beginnings, thanks to TADSAW who came to the rescue and pulled me out from my own depression left by another service dog program, TADSAW has helped me to become close to life at one paw at a time . It’s a God sent thing for me , I kept away from everything and everyone for about 10 years, before TADSAW I participated with a group for veterans that had a very short time to connect with a service dog out of ten people only 2 left with a service dog I had 3 but no match , but few years later I heard of TADSAW in that time I got a puppy and when I heard of a group that would help me and my puppy come together and work on moving forward in life life I took a chance . Mr. Bart gave me enough time to explain myself to him and at the end of the conversation I was crying because Mr. Bart understood what I was saying and feeling, today Lindow and I go everywhere together, thanks to TADSAW . And Hod bless also thank you Bart , with out you this would have NEVER happened. Please donate what ever you can AMEN

My encounter with TADSAW stood in stark contrast to their mission statement. As a veteran seeking support for my dog to become a service animal due to my General Anxiety Disorder, I anticipated empathy and understanding in line with TADSAW's commitment to aiding veterans and their families dealing with mental health challenges. However, my conversation with Bart Sherwood, Director of TADSAW, deviated sharply from their mission. Despite my attempt to explain the nuances of my condition and distinguish it from panic attacks, I encountered dismissiveness and an unwillingness to acknowledge my experience. This was profoundly disheartening, not just because my perspective as a veteran was disregarded but also because the significance of mental health was minimized. As a Clinical Psychologist, I hold immense respect for the challenges individuals face concerning mental health, and witnessing its dismissal in this interaction was particularly troubling. Bart's insistence on equating different mental health conditions as "semantics" and his refusal to listen to my experiences contradicted the spirit of TADSAW's mission to restore and improve the quality of life for veterans and their families. In our brief 12-minute exchange, Bart’s approach belied the essence of TADSAW's mission. The lack of empathy and understanding in addressing my needs and condition only served to perpetuate the very stigma TADSAW strives to transform. Veterans, especially those seeking mental health resources, deserve compassion, respect, and a willingness to listen—an aspect that was conspicuously absent in my interaction with the Director of TADSAW.

The TADSAW program by training Noah and I, have given me the world back. No longer am I shut in my home, Noah and I conquer the abled world daily. And when my brain turns south to dark places, Noah is right there to steer me back to better places. I am your biggest fan in my opinion and spread the word about Participant Trained Service Dogs (PTSD) as often as I can. Thank you just does not seem like enough for all that you did for us.

TADSAW helps Veterans get Service Animals. The process is simple & efficient. My assigned trainer, Justin, is great also. This progam will ACTUALLY HELP YOU get a Service Animal - and they adopt from animal shelters! The whole concept is beautiful. I'm very thankful for TADSAW.

This been such a positive experience. Chrissy the TADSAW trainer they have in Pittsburgh is excellent. She makes training so fun . Each week I look forward to working with her . I can’t thank Bart enough for this amazing program . I work with my dog everyday so she can earn her stripes to become an official service dog. She help me so much throughout the day to keep me calm . Thank you guys for help. My family will be forever grateful to you guys . God bless

IF YOU ARE A VETERAN AVOID THIS PLACE LIKE THE PLAGUE!!! I am a veteran with severe ptsd, MPD, anxiety, panic attacks and other mental health issues. When I called Bart picked up. He was the most rude individual have spoken with in a long time. He cut me off 7 or 8 times. We seemed almost frustrated that I didn’t have all the answers and was dismissive of any question. Well buddy if you don’t want people to call and ask questions don’t put your number on the internet. This is supposed to help people with serious mental health issues so maybe don’t be a total jerk about the “help” you’re providing.
