Description East Metro Animal Emergency Clinic is your local emergency veterinarian for both cats and dogs located in Covington, GA. We are open on Monday-Friday at 6pm until overnight, and 24 hours on Saturday and Sunday's. No appointment is needed to bring in your pet, we only see patients on a walk-in basis. We understand the pet emergencies can happen at anytime, that is why our team of veterinarians and support staff are here when you need us the most. We have been providing pet emergency care to Covington and surrounding communities for close to 17 years, so you can be sure your pet is in the best hands when they come to our animal hospital. Starting from Molly at the front desk to Dr. Corell's treatment, Bentley was in good hands. His nurse (please forgive me for forgetting your name) was so gentle and compassionate that she handled him with great care. The team got to the source of his problem and we left feeling confident that our fur baby would be back to himself in no time. Thank you all

My dog had an emergency with an allergic reaction which caused her tongue to swell and she could not breathe. My daughter called to vet notifying them I was on my way. When I arrived, my dog was taken straight back and veterinarian examined her quickly then gave her two injections. Within a minute or so, my dog was breathing and doing well. It was a horrible situation that could have gone bad. Instead. My dog is well and living.

East Metro was nothing short of amazing! Their entire team was caring, professional and passionate. The vet (she is there every other week) was extremely thorough in her process of examination & elimination. The vet was VERY knowledgeable! I have an elder dog, Dobe and will definitely trust him in their care (if need be) in the future! Thank you for truly caring for your patients.

Excellent care by the staff at 1 am in the morning. The staff was friendly, kind,and efficient. Our dog stayed the night and they seemed to really love on her! Our only problem was the cost of snake bite treatment which was over 2300$ wow! Didn’t expect that.

The staff was exceptionally compassionate and so knowledgeable! I highly recommend them. I had an amazing experience and even witnessed their compassion with other families and their pets. I can’t say enough great things about them. My bengal cat is very particular and doesn’t like strangers but she was very cooperative and friendly with them. They are absolutely wonderful!!

The team was INCREDIBLE! I work in the medical field so I know the importance of explaining things to patients to ease their anxiety and make sure they’re well informed. The way the techs and vet did this was by far the thing that stood out the most to me. They explained what they were going to do every step of the way. They made sure I was informed about each part of the price breakdown. She educated me on what they were going to do for my little man and the different treatment approaches according to what they found. The discharge teaching was so thorough and she made it very digestible for someone who doesn’t know a thing about veterinary medicine! My only regret is that I don’t live in the state. Otherwise I would tell all my friends to go there. Thank you so much for loving on my sweet Moses and for giving him the most phenomenal, heartfelt care.
