My Cooper blew out his Cruciate ligaments bilateral and Sage took us in immediately. The care is more than Excellent it is Superior. Cooper recovered wonderfully from the 1st tear in May 2022 and will recover from this 2024 tear. Sage has Excellent Employees, not 1 was in a poor mood nor dismissive to their clients. I observed nothing but Compassion and Empathy along with Patience not only extended towards my boy however with every single Fur Baby that came in and left. I personally am so grateful Sage Redwood City is available to our Family. The after care is also Wonderful. This Veterinarian Hospital listens to the Clients because the Clients know their fur baby the Best. 10 Stars 🌟 from me and I have been a Fur parent for over 40 years. Thank you Sage:.Redwood City.

Baxter picked up a foxtail in his ear and was quite miserable. I went to my regular vet and they immediately referred me to Sage. We had to wait for several hours after being evaluated because there were pets that had more urgent issues. Everyone we saw was compassionate and professional. By the end of the day Baxter was home and on the mend. Thanks Sage!!

Whether it’s been removing a Foxtail over a weekend, or something more mysterious, and apparently more serious, the staff at Sage are phenomenal. They’re incredibly respectful, compassionate, and the medical staff are able to give you what you need to know as a parent in ways that make you understand And know what you need to do. I absolutely trust them with my precious Golden doodle. It’s not that I like having to go there, but I know that I’m going to get the very best care and guidance possible. Really can’t recommend them enough, even though I love her regular vet.

This was my first visit to SAGE, and they were fantastic. The facility is clean and there is a nice waiting area. My dog needed to be seen by the vet late one evening and while there was a wait time and many patients ahead of us to see the vet the staff triages all the patients quickly. I also appreciated the staff who held their ground when someone was trying to jump the line to be seen by the vet after being triaged and deemed stable. I know that isn't an easy thing to do, but the staff did an excellent job. My dog had great care by the staff and once seen by the vet the process sped up and was efficient. She is already feeling much better, thank you!

I am normally mistrusting of vets, but wow, Dr. Baer (aka Dr. De Lombaert) went above and beyond communicating with me about my dog’s issues and eventual surgery. She discussed evidence-based approaches for treating elbow dysplasia and delaying the onset of arthritis, answered all my questions, and she is an all-around legend. She was never pushy about recommending surgery, either, encouraging us to “take the time to make the decision that’s best for your family.” As far as I can tell, she did a great job with the surgery. She also did everything she could to put my nervous dog at ease. In addition to all of that, she discussed the risks of grain-free diets (our dog was coincidentally on grain-free food due to his brother’s allergies). She could have said nothing, but instead she took the time to share about recent data on grain-free diets in dogs being linked to cardiomyopathy. Really a 10/10 incredibly good vet. It’s too bad she doesn’t treat humans :) Everyone else was good, too, but Dr. Baer really stood out. I hope we never need them again, but there’s nowhere else I’d rather take my dog for specialty/emergency treatment. Care here is pricey, but they do give you an estimate ahead of time. Pet insurance is a life saver.
