The staff was nothing but absolutely caring and amazing. When my dog started going blind I was the one having a hard time dealing with it. I called them and they told me unfortunately the wait was 3 weeks long. I started to cry because I was just so overwhelmed and scared for my dog and the lady on the phone was absolutely compassion and caring and gave me a lot of great information to discuss with my Vet and assured me I was doing the best and the right thing. Sure enough, we created a plan with my Vet and were able to get my dog his vision back within a couple of months. Everyone has been fantastic there, I've always felt welcome and my dog, who doesn't usually quickly warm up to strangers, loves everyone there. They are patient because he is a talker, and they talk to him and treat him like he is their own. I cannot express how life changing it has been to have been there.
The entire staff was pleasant, professional and efficient. Dr. Barrett and Yolanda provided a great level of service and care for our pet. Dr. Barrett also provided education by having me view what he was seeing in my pet's eye. 5 +++++++star rating
My lil 8mo old goblin got uveitis. Thanks to Eye Care for Animals, and Cat Hospital of Tucson, we were able to get an appointment within 24 hours!
DO NOT TAKE YOUR PET HERE!!! I took my dog to see them after she sustained an eye injury and she needed her eye removed. They reassured me that they would do bloodwork to make sure she was healthy even though she was already 16 years old. I picked her up after her $3000 surgery and they informed me she had kidney disease and to follow up with my vet. 6 days later her regular vet found out she was in complete kidney failure and died days later. I contacted Eye Care for Animals and initially I spoke with Roxana who acted like she cared and could refund some if not all of my money and then completely ghosted me for MONTHS. Finally after many unsuccessful attempts at speaking with her she actually answered and I told her at the very least I should be refunded my $80 for the follow up appointment that I had to pay for before the surgery and that she couldn’t make the appointment because she was dead by then. Roxana told me it was JUST $80 but she would get back to me in 2 weeks which then I never heard from her again. They never sent a condolence card or anything and clearly couldn’t have cared less about the loss of my dog who I loved more than anything. I have never experienced such lack of care and empathy by an establishment.. especially a place dealing with pets. It couldn’t be more obvious that this place only cares about making money and not about the animals.
My dog had to have eye surgery. Take such good care if him. Everyone is friendly and caring.
Our cat got his eyeball punctured and we were referred here by our regular vet. He had surgery and his first followup appt yesterday. Everything is going well, and we have liked everyone there. They are professional, caring and friendly. Our cat likes them too! 😺
