If you are looking for affordable and trustworthy vet care this is the place to go. Both vets are incredible human beings who are wholeheartedly there to serve our furry friends and our community. Compassion, honesty, excellence, and stewardship are their core values, which are 100 % reflected in their work they do. I am very grateful that they exist.

I brought my dog Jackson here on Saturday and the work done at Coronado Animal Hospital was done very quickly, the staff was very friendly, and the treatment they prescribed helped Jackson almost instantly. He had bloody diarrhea for a few days and after just a few days of taking the antibiotics they gave me he is already almost back to being his happy, healthy self. It takes a bit to get seen because it's on a first come/first serve basis (you take a ticket when you show up and wait in your car), but they still move pretty quickly and still get you in and out efficiently. Very affordable as well, I will absolutely be back in the future in the event I need a vet again.

I am not one to write reviews but for this business, I can't help myself. The work that is done here is phenomenal and not enough good things to say about it. It is a family owned business, which is super cool in my opinion. I have taken my 3 current dogs here, and my late soul dog. Both of the Dr. Lawrences have treated my pets with the type of love and respect as if they had owned them, especially my late soul dog. Dr. Lawrence let me hold him while we put him down and afterwards, he carried his beautiful limp body with so much kindness and respect. it was very evident that he was trying not to let us see the limpness in his body once he had passed. they are extremely accommodating, usually not making me lift my 75lb dogs up to the table but treating them from the ground. Along with their great compassion, they are also extremely affordable. As a girl with 3 large dogs, affordability is extremely important and in my journey to find an affordable vet, no one beats Coronado. The affordability and the quality of treatment you will experience here is undeniably rare and not appreciated enough. I will forever recommend them to anyone looking for a vet.

I MISS these guys! Best vet in Kansas City! Been going here for 10 years till we moved recently and I love the mom and pop feel! My experience here with all my guys have been phenomenal they never try to push unnecessary stuff or mess like most places do I hated takimg.my guys to the vet before I found Coronado and eventho I moved they have been available via phone with my concerns Deff recommend they treat tour babies like theirs♡

I'm on a very limited income. I also can't help but to take in stray kitties. I knew that I was coming into this vets office... knowing they will do the bare minimum... ( depending on the health of said pet).... they are super helpful and if you want extra blood testing done, they'll do it. Happy I found this place.... ☺️
