Your commercials made me get rid of tv all together. I ❤️ animals, but using torture scenes of animals to tug on heart strings for money is deplorable. If I'm gonna help animals I'll go down to my local shelter.

My spouse tried to make a “one time” 2023 end of year donation online to the ASPCA. The ASPCA system automatically signed him up for a monthly auto renewal which he then tried to cancel because it was a one-time, non-monthly donation. It then wouldn’t let him cancel and after many tries to correct it and “no one” on the other end to assist him (he tried to reach someone there several times) he had to contact our bank, to stop the auto renewal. The ASPCA system continued to attempt to take money from our account, but was repeatedly stopped by our bank. For such a GOOD and WORTHY CAUSE, it is very sad that the ASPCA is loosing out on one-time yearly donations (which is what we often do in December each year) due to unscrupulous corporate-like-practices such as auto-renewals which run off willing but traditional donors. With tactics Like this, it makes a person question if the rest of the organization is being above-board and serving the needs of the needy animals for which it was created. We did not have any of these issues with any of the other charities we donated to.

Corrupt "Non-profit". Donated at a booth for a one time, as the rep stated. Turns out they were charging me every month for a year. Also the more you do research about the organization, the more corruption you will find. Let alone the President/CEO Matthew Bershadker took home just under a Million for the year.

*DO NOT DONATE TO THIS ORGANIZATION* I made a donation to this organization a few months ago. A few weeks later, they took it upon themselves to withdraw more money from my account without my permission. I called and spoke with Ruben. He said I signed up for a monthly donation to which I defiantly argued that I did not. Ruben was sarcastic and even laughed at me when I demanded my money be returned. He finally agreed and said it would be refunded in 7 to 10 business days. It is now 42 days later. I have had to get a new debit card and I still have not gotten my money back. I spoke with a rep today and she said my case was pending. She then asked if I could hold so that Ruben could speak to me again - the same Ruben who lied about refunding the money that stolen out of my account. I am not a person who takes the same bullet twice, so I hung up. I am now filing fraud charges with the bank and I am also pursuing criminal charges against Ruben since he was the one who said he would take responsibility. DO NOT DONATE TO THESE PEOPLE!

I recently discovered that this organization does not share any of the massive amounts of money donated by individuals to smaller local SPCA’s . I personally contacted 10 local SPCA’s and asked if the American Society For the prevention of cruelty to animals ever shares the millions and millions and millions of dollars donated and every single one said they do not share their money. Shame on you.
