Staff was incredibly easy to work with, but the problems with my adoption started immediately after adoption. We were not prepared for the dog we took on. Through the entirety of the adoption emails back and forth AND face to face interaction, I was not told about the severity of the dogs separation anxiety. I was told he was 'needy' and 'crazy'. I was expecting a dog with little to no training that took some extra time to learn boundaries. I was not expecting a dog that came with psychological issues that needed extensive medical attention. If I was aware of the extent of his issues, I would not have taken on this dog. This rescue has turned me off of rescues completely. Be aware you will not be told the full truth of the needs of an animal before adopting.

Visited this weekend, welcomed with open arms and kindness. Went to another place and this one just stood out. After a few hours, we prayed and was lead back ARF and to Frankie. The process was awesome and the people are angles that do what they do.

ARF is amazing. They truly care about the animals. A while back when my grandmother reached the point she had to move to assisted living, we were faced with the delima of rehousing her 14yr old cat or taking it to the shelter where it would have surely been put to sleep. Not only were they willing to take the cat in if needed, they already had a foster before I dropped her off. A very helpful and compassionate group of people here.

Jeri and Rob are the best people to run this foundation. They are dedicated, committed, and driven to rescue animals and give them a forever home. They always take the opportunity to rescue a dog in need and give them proper, loving care. They are also very personable and easy to work with. I am proud to know this selfless couple.
