The vet was great and gave our dog the most peaceful and best way to go. Highly recommend. She came on base too which is a plus (I did have to sponsor) but she was willing to go thru that process. The overall process was the best experience I have had.

Kindred Spirits offers a wonderful service. Our malamute, Olly was diagnosed with bone cancer and declined fast. We made an appointment with Dr. Barrett to come to the office. On the day of our appointment, we decided it was too traumatic to transport Olly. Dr. Barrett and her assistant compassionately accommodated us and rescheduled to come to our location. I was nervous about the procedure, but it was a very peaceful experience from the moment they arrived. Dr. Barrett was very patient and made sure we were ready to proceed with each step. She was very gentle performing the steps, and I had complete confidence in her. Olly passed without any stress, and they took his body away and I knew he was in the care of loving hands. I chose not to receive any remains, and she let me know that her and her family spread the ashes of all the pets that they help if not returned to the owner. They also gave us a booklet to read on how to cope with the grief of losing a pet which was very helpful. I highly recommend Kindred Spirits.

Dr. Barrett and the staff were EXCEPTIONALLY kind and compassionate. My dog passed away from a status epilepticus, but when we arrived with his body, Dr. Barrett showed sympathy and empathy and was kind in providing the time we needed to say good-bye to his earthly body. His remains and memorial items were beautifully packaged. Thank you Kindred Spirits! You deal with the hardest part of life and offer a great way to honor loved ones!

I’m sorry $350 dollars to put a dog down under 3.5 pounds is literally robbery. This is so sad this is what our world and doctors have came to. I gave up years of my life to serve my country in the military while we were in war for the worst wages and we have doctors getting rich off peoples love for their animals trying to let their pet die peacefully at home. We need to go back to when we were a caring community and not a get rich easy put on a mask who cares community. I asked for a detailed itemized bill and was told no by the doctor, that in itself is a red flag 🚩 so I will pass. To those searching for a more affordable compassionate business, I will keep you in my prayers.

Highly recommended. Their in home process is by far the most comfortable to the pet and family. Our dog Wuzzy passed so peacefully with absolutely no discomfort because of them. We are so grateful we found them.
