Description At Spirit’s Promise Equine Rescue and Rehabilitation, our mission is to rescue horses who have been abused, neglected, or unwanted. When these beautiful animals arrive, we give them a new educational and recuperative purpose. In return, they repay us with love, sensitivity and an innate spirituality unique to the species. We embrace the empathic gifts that come naturally to the horses to assist struggling humans. We unlock the horses’ hidden potential and in so doing generate new opportunities for them and the humans fortunate enough to interact with them.

My husband and I visited spirt’s promise today, after we suddenly lost our 27 year old son 7 weeks ago .. our lives have been stricken with grief and we haven’t had any desire to leave our house until we saw what this experience had to offer … Marisa had welcomed us and gave us solace that we didn’t think was possible… she and Jill were compassionate, empathetic and all around wonderful people. we had an equine therapy session with two of her beautiful horses Bentley and Roxy, and for the first time in seven weeks we actually felt some peace in our lives … thank you Marisa, you are an amazing person.

Absolutely worth a visit. All of our tour guides were knowledgeable, warm, and friendly. It was obvious that they all deeply love what they do and the horses.

Great place for horses and people who love them. Caring staff put their charges first. Great place to volunteer and if you can't then please donate to keep a roof over these fine animals heads.

Beautiful property and mission I've driven by this place many times and have wanted to stop in. Finally got the chance when they offered Line Dancing classes in the barn. And the barn is GORGEOUS! We were able to meet the owner and she was lovely. She spoke about the origin of the farm and her vision to connect horses to people in a way that can benefit both. They host tours on Sundays. Date of experience: October 2022

It was very amazing, the people there are so welcoming. it is at great place to take the children,and loved one the animals are well taking care of and very friendly. I will definately go back there and the side to the place is very soothing. Loveeeed it

Amazing place with even better people. Marisa and Jessie are extremely friendly and do a great job of rescuing animals and people! Worth the visit and do the barn tour too!
