Description PLEASE NOTE: The address listed is a Post Office. All my hedgehogs are kept in my home and my home address is not listed online. Appointments are available to visit my hedgehogs and learn more about my quillery. I am a small scale, dedicated breeder of gorgeous and unique hedgehogs with friendly temperaments while maintaining the highest levels of health and genetic diversity in every hedgehog in my breeding program. All hedgehogs are kept in my home (not in a pet store) and are loved and spoiled every day. As a result ,all the adorable babies from my quillery are healthy, sweet, well-adjusted and people oriented. All my hedgehogs are pedigreed for several generations to ensure healthy hedgehogs with no inbreeding or line breeding.

Sara went above and beyond our expectations when we adopted our hedgie, Muffin. When he wasn’t eating in his new home, she took him back into her care, and she helped him grow. She truly cares about her babies! Muffin returned home and with Sara’s knowledge and advice, he has thrived! I feel relieved knowing she is always there to answer our hedgehog questions.

Such a wonderful breeder. Very responsive and professional and knowledgeable. Truly cares about the health and quality of all hedgehogs in her breeding program. We were amazed at how socialized, sweet and friendly her hedgies were. The time, care and attention she gives to her animals is evident. Even our vet was shocked at how friendly our hedgehog was! We purchased a hedgehog from this breeder and we have been beyond happy with our decision. She walked us through all the preparations needed prior to our purchase and has been available for any questions after bringing her home. We have given her information to others and will definitely be working with this breeder again!

I contacted this individual about purchase a hedgehog. She was very informative, very personal and has wealth of knowledge. She explained the value in getting an older verses a younger hedgehog. I selected to purchase a younger one. The hedgehog I purchased from her was so tame, sweet disposition and very adaptable to moving with us. I feel so blessed to have found this breeder. If I had any friends that want a little cactus cat I would definitely recommend Sugar and Spice Hedges! Great value for the price, she will answer any questions you may have. She is wonderful to work with.

I am SO over the moon with my little Nugget! Sara does an amazing job loving her baby hedgies before they go to their permanent homes. I love that she is always there to answer questions and help me out when I need it. I could not be more in love with my little guy! She will always be my go-to!
