What a cute little area to walk! The parrots are super talkative and the other animals are wonderful to look at. It is a great add on to a day out and supports a lovely cause!

Our family was visiting the area from Tampa. I always like to find inexpensive things to do with the kids. This didn’t disappoint! We saw beautiful animals, I had never seen some of them up close like we did.

We haven't had rain for quite some time, so the vegetation was dry and sad. Not too many birds either but maybe that's a good thing. Still fun for smaller kids.

I accompanied my daughter's 3rd-grade class on a trip, where the children were thrilled to see and learn about animals. Unfortunately, one employee, Miss Emma, displayed rudeness, speaking condescendingly to the students, comparing them unfavorably to kindergarteners and lacking patience. As both a parent and former teacher, I observed that the children behaved well overall and did not warrant such treatment.

I brought in a young bird we found that fell out his nest, that needed care. The lady met me outside, asked some questions and answered some of mine. She said they will take care of him and put him with a couple others until he's older and release them together. I didn't get to go inside that area. Also I had to call before going there with the bird. They asked a few questions and said someone would call me back before coming in. She did about an hour later, asked about his condition...because he was young and slightly injured they would accept him ....she said I could bring him in during business hours. Also told me when I arrive to call the number on the door ...so I did, it took a few minutes all together. Happy to know there's somewhere not too far from where I live that will help this little chick survive.
