I was contacted by another agency about a lost Yorkie. The Yorkie was transported to this Humane Unit. I drove an hour to get there as soon as they opened in the morning. Turned out it was not my dog. But they went the extra mile to contact my ex partner and make sure that my dog was safe with him. I can’t express enough how much that impacted me. The two ladies there are amazing and clearly love what they do. They were kind and helpful and went out of their way to resolve the situation. I hope they find the actual owner of that dog. But they put my mind at ease and gave me a gentle reminder of the kind people in the world. Thank You!

So thankful for the officers who picked up our puppy and kept him safe! Never did I think we would lose one of our animals but again thankful for a happy outcome.

I found a kitten and needed to find a home for it. They asked for a picture. When they discovered that breed wasn’t expensive they turned me away saying they had to more space.

We found a very wounded and very frightened cat dragging himself into our bushes. I called the Coral Springs Humane Unit and Haylee came out. She was absolutely wonderful! She worked very hard to minimize the cat's discomfort while managing to trap him with great care and sympathy. I so appreciated her calling me to let me know the outcome. The wounds were quite bad and although the cat had to be euthanized, I am thankful for her professionalism and empathy in performing her duties in a tough situation. Thank you Haylee!

I noticed an injured duck in my backyard (lakeside) and called the humane unit. They showed up within an hour, unfortunately the duck appeared to be deceased by the time they got there. But they humanely loaded it on to their truck.

8 ducklings fell into the corner drain grate and within minutes they out rescuing them as the momma duck frantically waited for them. Great to watch them rescue and return to her. Great Job!!!
