I have called for over 2 years to report animal abuse and cruelty and I have been told officers have been out to check on this dog, yet there he was tied to a fence on concrete in 101 temp where he proceeded to stay tied for 3 days since monday. 6 calls in I asked to speak to a supervisor and got transfered to a general mailbox and still have heard nothing back. I have now posted pics on neighborhood of this situation for help because they have done absolutely nothing or told me why. In fact an officer at this site and I quote after I sent a picture said "So he has shade" which was a sliver on the stairs where this dog stayed for over 4 hrs in 101 in the shade. Are u serious!! Except at 7am and 8am and 9am he didn't have any shade. I will not give up on this dog. It's cruel and AGAINST THE LAW foe him to be tethered longer then 3hrs, yet it's been much 2 years. This life for this poor dog is unacceptable, cruel, abusive, and yet you do nothing. And I get excuses when I call. Shame on you!!!

I live in Orange County and drove here in July to adopt a kitten after reading the reviews. I can't say enough good things about this place, the entire staff is so welcoming, kind, friendly, and helpful. The whole adoption process was quick and painless. I adopted a kitten who was named Siobhan and I have now named Haylie. She is just as affectionate as she is feisty and playful. I have another cat named Happy and he is twice Haylie's size but she still manages to take him down and they are always running after each other, playing together and when they are not, they are grooming one another or sleeping next to one another. And other times Haylie would just jump into my lap and sleep or stand and hug me and give me kisses. Although she doesn't say much, she talks to you with her eyes. The way she looks at you just melts your heart. I am extremely happy that I went here and adopted her. I just wanna say thank you very much to everyone that works there.

Fantastic experience! They have adoption counselors to help you choose the best pet for you. The facility is incredible, well designed and clean. We absolutely adore our kitty we adopted!

Attractive facility with a safe sanitary environment. Pets are well cared for. The only drawback is they are very understaffed. We were turned away two days in a row because we came in the afternoon and they already had all the adoptions It could handle by closing. Once one got their name on the list, the wait was three hours. So, if you can, go to the shelter in the morning. Donate time or money, if you can. We are very happy with our new kitty! He’s perfect!

I got my new kitty baby here! I love this facility! I really think that they go through a great process, making sure that the animals go to a nice home. The adoption process was easy and they made sure the animals and the the people adopting felt taken care of

Though their services are incredible and a huge asset to the community, charging a fee of $150 to leave your animal "untouched" during a lifesaving surgery is absolutely INhumane. Shadow's treatment was time-sensitive and necessary and I feel that they preyed upon my inability to pay all fees as an excuse to neuter my dog; a choice I would never have made for him.
