Way over priced on free items not clean

Editing this after cooling down a bit. I was double charged for more than half my stuff but didn't notice until after they charged my card, a customer behind me had started a small conversation. I went back in and explained, even showed her the sign with the price on it, and was met with immediate denial. "I've always charged that since I started working here," so you've been double charging people for what could be years and that's supposed to comfort me? I said it was false advertising and she literally laughed at me. I was refused a refund four times because "I pay $3 or more for mine!" and "It would short my drawer!" If you choose to pay a bigger price for items NEW don't expect people to pay that used, especially during a pandemic. And if you're in retail, don't make a mistake and then refuse to fix it because it would look bad for you. I've never had these problems before but I've also never shopped here alone before today and I probably won't ever again. As someone who has worked in retail, people like this make it hard on everyone and promote bad stereotypes. "Karen" is a meme for a reason.

Store has some decent stuff but anything good is priced like an antique store. You can't get antique store/eBay prices in a thrift store. I get wanting to raise money for a good cause but that stuff will sit and no one will buy it.

About 10 minutes before they close they won't let you in and when closing time is 2 minutes away they will tell at you to be at the cash register. This is not the first time family, friends, coworkers, and my self have been yelled (not asked) at to leave or reminded of the time. I understand that they have a closing time but it's not hard to ask people politely to check out. Large selection and great cause is why I didnt lower my review.

About a year ago, everything that was nice in the store, had a tag on it that said Item is sold. When I talked with the manager, she explained that all the things marked sold or hold were her's. That she had been there when they were donated and she wanted to purchase them as soon as they were donated. I thought the merchandise donated was for customers to purchase, so they could make money. If anything good was saved for the manager, that certainly is not what the people who donated the items had in mind.
