Spoke with the animal control officer for several hours regarding a injured animal. He followed up with the situation and continued to do so until the situation was handled. After spending several hours with him, I can tell this man cares. I commend him for pushing through and doing the best he can despite the overwhelming need!

I will admit I was a little hesitant on calling these guys due to the recent negative reviews, and to be honest I never did. However, my neighbors in the neighborhood called them on themselves and I also talked with them. Have gone to their office and spoke with Pam (a very helpful lady) to help with the situation at hand. Excellent people who handle the bad situations like professionals.

Excellent! Accomodations were nice, I was well fed, petted often but it was a little noisy but overall a pleasant experience !

No one ever answers the phone! I called a couple weeks ago to report a TERRIBLE animal hoarding situation and I was lucky enough to have someone answer the phone. I was encouraged by who I spoke with that they were actually going to investigate this situation. Now, they don't answer again. I recently found out (not by animal control) that absolutely NOTHING was investigated or done about this hoarding situation!

I have called animal control every day for over a week. I've left messages for them on Facebook and voicemail messages. One of my neighbor's has a dog they keep in a 5 by 5 kennel outside with no dog house no matter how hot it is outside. These people's dog whines and barks constantly. Half the time I don't even see water for this poor puppy. As far as I know they have done nothing about it. I would love a job apparwhere you apparently dont have to do anything at; and is only open 9-5 5 days per week. Worst government organization in the city of Paducah. Absolute waste if tax money.

found two pitbulls scared and hungry. fed them & kept them in my garage overnight. i cannot keep them because i have two great danes. i called the humane society and they said they cannot take the dogs unless i pay $25 for each dog for a heart worm test and they have to be negative... i’m a student, i’m 17, i have two great danes, so i called animal control, told them the situation at 11am this morning they said i had to let the dog unrestrained and roaming around in order for them to take them. i really didn’t feel comfortable doing this but i had to, my mom made me. it’s been 3 hours, won’t answer call backs, and hasn’t showed up. It’s sad that animals have to go through so much just to get a warm stable place to be. sickening.
