I love this place! Beautiful facility filled with amazing loving staff. They truly love their job and it shows. I went with my daughter to get a cat and the staff was so friendly and helpful. Gave us time to explore the animals and we took home a sweet kitty cat. They are always looking for donations so take a moment and help out for a good cause.

I will never waste my time going here again the three hours I was here. The staff members spent more time with the cat then letting the cat spend time with us when you go into adopt a cat paperwork should be finalized before you leave. We sat there for three hours, and last minute were told we couldn’t leave with the cat and would have the paperwork ready. Absolute waste of time

I've been a loving, responsible animal owner all of my life. I took the time to meticulously fill in an application 2 years ago, with many specifics. I was called immediately by Pope and I communicated clearly that I could not adopt for at least 3-4 months. They instructed me to come in anyway. I did not adopt that day (as I had stated I could not) but I did leave a donation. I've never since been contacted, although I have knowledge of adoptions meeting my needs happening for people who submitted applications since mine.

We just adopted a handsome 8-week-old puppy named Pumba. He is an amazing puppy at eight weeks, he is very smart, he can sit, and lie down when told. He goes to the door and rings a bell when he needs to go out all at eight weeks old. The staff at Pope Memorial SPCA was outstanding!!! We did public puppy visits and spoke with Madison who was experienced with dogs and give us great information on Pumba and the responsibilities of having a puppy. We also had the pleasure to speak with Megan who was professional and explained all the paperwork needed to adopt Pumba. We would recommend Pope Memorial SPCA to everyone 👍👍👍 Thank you Pope Memorial SPCA for the awesome experience.
