If I could, not only would I give a negative review I would fine them. We saw a dog we wanted to adopt. Badly. We decided we’d rescue rather than go through a breeder. Filled out the EXTENSIVE application IN IT’s ENTIRETY. And elaborated how we lost our golden to cancer. Followed up with multiple calls. To this day we have not received ONE communication back. Nothing. If the dog isn’t an available I get it. But TELL US. We’re happy to move on. Our next step. We’re going to drive there and beat on doors. These people FAIL at what they’re doing. This type experience will push you to just go to a good breeder. They will at least talk to you

I had the most amazing experience here, all thanks to Mary. She supported us as we asked many questions, and throughout this whole process was so accommodating and helpful. Now we have a new forever friend!

I really didn't want to believe all the negative Google reviews, but they are true. Put in an application for 2 senior dogs and never got a response. Called, emailed, sent messages via their website, absolutely no response. What's worse, about a month later, I see them begging for people to adopt their senior pets on Facebook. I'm trying but no one responds! Starting to wonder if this is a front for money laundering or something. So sad that animals need homes and people want to take them in, but this facility doesn't want to let them go.

How long does it take for them to acknowledge your existence after filling out an app? I filled out 2 for 2 different dogs (they are a pair and must be adopted together) and still haven’t heard anything after trying to contact them multiple times. At least a message saying they received my applications would nice.

As I have read the negative reviews..i want to say I understand the disappointment in not being allowed in. But Mary who answered the door was Very nice and explained the reason. We did adopt a wonderful dog named Rudy and they are more concerned about the animals then anything else. Make an appointment you won't be sorry! We were there 2x meeting dogs before we decided on Rudy, then they even kept Rudy for us for a week because I had a lot of company coming didn't want to overwhelm him I would go daily to take him for a walk and if the lobby was available they let me play with him there..Very accommodating!! Being there I witnessed the staff and volunteers they are always busy taking care of animals no one is sitting around doing nothing! After our meeting with Mary she always my calls maybe not immediately but when she could! This is more like a resort then a shelter!!

If I could give zero stars, I would. Our family most recently lost a very special person, who was a huge animal advocate and a big supporter of Faithful Friends. She for many, many years made monthly donations that added up to be in the thousands. She had two very precious to her cats that are both around 10yrs of age. One she took in after it had been thrown out from it's home and the other since he was a kitten. She had an written agreement with Faithful Friends that in the event of her demise, they would take the cats and find them new safe, loving homes. This was one of her last wishes. When her health was fading and she had to be removed from her home abruptly, FF was contacted numerous times to see if they could start helping to find these guys homes as we knew she would no longer be back and able to care for them. Many messages were left, with the occasional brief response back, but still no help. She then passed away and a message was left to make them aware and remind them of the written agreement. The monthly donations have stopped of course and I am certain we will never hear from them again. She would be so disappointed in FF with the way they have handled this situation. Now we are working as hard as we can to find her babies good, safe, loving homes ourselves and with the help of a few other, true to their word animal rescues who have stepped in, I feel certain we will find one. With that being said, this situation has brought myself, my family and so many others who loved her and knew the type of person she was to no longer support or trust in Faithful Friends. What started out as a wonderful place, with the compassion, love and the true want to helping animals, has became a place with more of a financial intention. Not all things and places are as they seem. Anyone can paint a pretty picture and make you believe it is based on truth. Actions speak louder than words and the lack of at times even more so. So please be aware, if you or an elderly person in your family or someone you know are making or thinking of making future last wishes plans for their fur family members and you are counting on Faithful Friends to help with this, I can assure you they are not so faithful, truthful, or accountable.
