We have a 16 week Shorkie, Maverick. We decided to come to Gast based on great recommendations from others in the area. With the puppy shots, we have had several visits so far. Every time we are in and out. Today there was a small wait and we received nothing but apologies and Maverick even got a toy! This is great customer service. Not to mention Dr.Gast really knows her stuff and takes her time with our doggo.

.I had to take my dog here to help her over the rainbow bridge. A task I never had to do before .As a person who works in a nursing home and deals with people at the end of their lives, I was impressed with the level of care and compassion the staff gave me at a very difficult time. Very perfessional. Dr.Gast was so sweet I felt like I had family there to support me. This was actually the first time my Pippa came see them because the cost was cheaper then my regular vet. When I decide on another pet Gast will have all my business. Highly recommend Gast Animal Hospital. Thank Dr. Gast and staff for all you done to help me through it

The staff was great and meeting them made me hope I could replace my regular vet. The drawback was meeting the vet Mrs. Gast. She was a sweet person but she is 79 years old and showing signs of mental slow down. She is very knowledgeable but seems to have trouble processing what I would say. I would state a fact and you can see in her face she is processing the information, acknowledges what I said then slides off into a basic vet diagnosis that she has said many times before. She seems like a great person and might have been having a bad day but be wary of my observation. I wish Gast Animal Hospital the best of luck and hope they continue making other clients happy.

Honestly one moment she's suggesting xrays and blood work and the next moment, (when im saying finances are a problem) shes suddenly wait and see. My dog is sick with possibly pnuemonia but she isn't sure. What changed? Money changed

Today was our second visit here and unfortunately it was to help our old dog over the rainbow Bridge. I honestly feel like we just joined a family. They have amazing staff, all of which are genuinely kind. The vet was very upfront and personable. If you're like me and looking for a vet with a homey feel just like they used to be.... maybe you'll find it here like we did. Thank you Gast!
