We just adopted our second dog from BARC and we couldn’t be happier with the experience! The dogs are fostered instead of living in stressful shelter situations, and they are so loved and well cared for! Vanessa does a wonderful job of making sure the dogs go to the perfect homes. 10/10 would recommend BARC to anyone wanting to share them home with a rescued pup!

What a wonderful rescue organization. They matched my desires for a dog that is active enough to walk with me yet wants to cuddle at night. They were very thorough in checking my references to ensure I was a worthy dog mom! Everyone adapted to my timing for house tour interview and for the meet up. My new pup was spayed, chipped and had all of her shots thanks to BARC. Thank you BARC for all you do.

Begin again rescue was the easiest rescue to work with. They were so kind to bring the puppy over before the official adoption to make sure she got along with the cats. Daphne formerly known as tinkerbell is the perfect fit and is so much fun!! The rescue actually took the time to go over everything with me told me the appropriate foods to feed her even gave a vet recommendation for her. She was up to date on her shots and even went to the vet before she came home with me. They even keep in touch with you after the adoption. Which I love because I get to send pictures of how Daphne is doing. They are doing wonderful things and are a great rescue who actually care about where the dogs go!!!

What an amazing organization to work with! I was met with a response to my application very quickly. They were very thorough while making sure the dog was going to be well cared for with us and in answering all of my questions. Within a week we had our sweet new dog home and she has been a wonderful addition to our family. I highly recommend them if you are looking to adopt a new furry friend!

I adopted my Bella from the Begin again 5 years ago. Not only did they have a very thorough vetting, but I was very impressed on how passionate they are about rescuing dogs. It’s been over a year and a half since Bella has passed on, but I’ve kept in touch with the rescue because if I’m going to adopt a dog, they’re going to be from an organization like this one. And I plan on fostering dogs from their organization in the future. The business of rescuing dogs is a hard one. But this organization gives me so much hope because the people who run it really do care about the welfare of the dogs in their care.
