People need to give proper Information. Called to ask Questions about adoption as well as other things I was not aware of.so I asked if the cat can be declawed.she said it inhuman and that would disqualify me from adopting a cat.she the Employee could of simply Explained that to me without disqualifying me.there are NO LAWS IN THE STATE OF INDIANA OR PORTER COUNTY 2023 OR 2024 THAN COMMUNICATES THIS LAW YOU SAY.How ever it would be helpful if put this on your face book page.its more professional than your employees giving out different information. I made a call today and another shelter said they should post that on there page.I shouldn't of been disqualified for asking a question.thanks to my husband who looked up & called the state and they said there's no such law.they said it was the shelters & veterinarian choice.

Wonderful shelter to adopt from. I adopted "Stefan" (now known as 'Bud') from them and he has been such a wonderful addition to our family. I would recommend them any day. Read their website first... you can't just walk in and adopt, you need to apply and make an appointment. As a cat owner for many years, I prefer it this way. Get to know your future kitty first!

If you don't live close by, don't bother going there. Won't let you see the dogs without an appointment. They have books you look at. The cats can be viewed but need an appointment also. Very dissapointed!!!

Very kind and sweet people working with the animals. You can tell they truly care and want the best for the animals it’s very heart warming and happy to see. I’m lucky enough to get to try a foster with an amazing dog to see if my home will be their forever home. Truly amazing people doing amazing things for these animals.

We adopted a dog and are very happy with her . We just love her and she loves us . She wants to learn and is a good dog. She wood alert us if there was a danger at night . The people at the shelter are well trained and help with what you want . The place is clean and they will talk to you about getting a cat or dog . If you go there and don't see a pet you want go back in about a couple of weeks .
