Unfortunately, the little kitty I found was found in fresno not clovis, but unlike everyone else who sounded angry and bitter the woman i spoke to was kind, empathetic, and understanding. I wish I could have taken the kitten I found here. Luckily, I found a loving home for her with another kitten, and she will be able to grow up loved and with a family. I'm grateful for the time I got to spend with her.

I called about a stray cat having a litter of kittens in my back yard and nobody answered, so then I sent a text like it said in the recording and all they said back was to not feed them and eventually they would leave, that was a week ago and they are still there not to mention I always thought that the whole point of "animal control" was to control the strays on the streets, but apparently I was totally wrong about that. So now I am left to figure out how to get a stray cat and her babies out of my back yard. I also would think that someone would want to make sure they will be ok and get proper care, possibly adopted, but apparently I was also wrong about that. I just hope I can somehow get them safely somewhere where they can be fixed and get properly cared for.

I've emailed them several times to report my neighbors dog in a cage in a little back yard in 100 degree heat for HOURS! Still going on, thank God it's not 100 plus right now.

I've been going to this location for decades when it was under the City of Clovis and wouldn't go anywhere else. When they opened in their other location I heard great things about Miss Winkles centers & I've seen super reviews from the way placement is handled to the screening qualifications and found its still true today. They definitely get a 5 star rating from me for continued excellence.

Tried to turn in a stray dog that was found not even 100ft outside their “Jurisdiction” and they refused to take the stray. Fresno Humane by the Fresno airport was willing to take the dog regardless of the jurisdiction of where it was found. Shame on Clovis Animal Services.

I wish I could have given it 5 stars. I wasn't there long enough to see more of it. The lower rating is because they are in an older building. It is positive because I think they put any funds they get into caring for the animals and not just a pretty building. It was staffed by a Clovis Police Officer. He was knowledgeable and efficient in helping me bail out my 18 year old cat. One of my neighbors must have reported her to them because they came into our gated property about 2 hours after she was let out. There was no charge to take her home as most cats are not retrieved by the owners. I left a small donation. I recommend considerin City of Clovis Animal Control for donations of time or money or pet supplies.
