Some of the rudest people I have ever met. My grandmother and I came looking for a dog, we didn't have a form and was going to leave, but they let us come in. We went to look at the dogs, we never stuck our hands in, just kneeled down to look and one woman started yelling at as. Next, the same woman belittled my grandma saying how she is not capable of taking care of a dog. Some of the worst people I have ever met. People who are supposed to take care of animals can’t even have the decency for people. Stay away the older woman is so rude and does not make you feel welcomed. edit: This happened around two months ago, not recent I was only able to just do this review. There were 4 dogs when we went. Like I said, she did not have to let us in but she did. We never pleaded with her to let us in, she made that choice herself. Well you may believe she didn't and I do believe she was saying it for protection, but we were no where near close to the cage. You do not belittle your customers, you can say it in a nice way but she said it in an extremely rude way that sounds so condescending and made it feel she was above us. I am saying stay away from that one person. I am well aware you are all volunteers, but to have someone be mean to potential adopters shouldn't be the case. The animals should be adopted, however you need a better volunteer than her. I work in customer service and you do not treat people that way. You never know what the case is. I live with my grandma so saying belittling stuff like that when you do not know the whole story is sad. We were looking to adopt here cause we live in TR and it’s super close and we’ve heard of great things. But when you be mean to potential adopters, thats the problem. The animals should get adopted out 100% and I’m not saying stay clear for the animals, but when you have a bad experience with someone who is supposed to help you, then no.

3 years ago, we adopted the latest member of our family! The team at SAVE were wonderful and really supported our choice and were always there answering any questions we had. They were great!!

So easy and a great experience! We fell in love with a kitten on Saturday night in pet smart and brought her home Tuesday night. Autumn is such a great addition to our home!

Great people, easy to work with. The process is super straightforward and they make sure the pets are in a safe home and environment. I adopted two great kittens named them Kiwi and Apple. I'll definitely keep in touch and send pictures as they treat all animals as family.

This rescue has a thrift store and they also have their rescue facility. Both are in Toms River. They get great pets from all over the country. I got the most wonderful dog here and they are very caring and loving people. Always try to adopt instead of shop.
