Our skittish dog, Carson, had a very pleasant experience while visiting Hope Animal Medical Center for the first time. Having just recently relocated to Athens, one of the things on our “to do” list was to find a new vet. Our groomer recommended Hope and we are very pleased with the treatment Carson received as well as the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff.

Hands down the BEST vet you can bring your animals to! Dr. Duncan and Dr. Clifton are always amazing and that’s an understatement. From diagnosing rare conditions to making our fur kids feel at home during boarding, they are the most caring, compassionate and knowledgeable vets around. The front desk and customer service is unmatched, my calls and questions are always answered (Leah is the greatest). The technicians are always so helpful and kind (huge shout out to Brittany, Nicole and Lindsay). If you want the best care with THE best people, where you aren’t just another patient, Hope is your place.

First time using this vet for a travel certificate to Europe. Teri was very helpful and efficient handling the process. My cat was scared during the physical exam, but treated very kindly. I’m very appreciative.

I have been a veterinary practice manager for almost 40 years. 34 + years in NY of a 7 doctor practice and here in Winder for a 5 doctor practice. I had to bring my 8 month old English Setter to be rechecked for kennel cough which he was diagnosed for 5/6. Elvis was put on 10 days of antibiotics and 10 additional days and it was not getting resolved. I decided to try Hope AMC. I called yesterday and was given an appointment today! Dr Jennifer Hope saw my dog with her assistant Cameron. They were both so caring! Dr Hope gave Elvis a thorough exam and did radiographs. Dr Hope showed me the radiographs and spent a great deal of time explaining everything to me. She changed him to a different antibiotic and he’s hardly coughed since his first dose! Dr Hope emailed me and requested I touch base by the weekend. I am so pleased to have found our forever vet!

There’s not even enough words to say how grateful I am for this Vet. I brought my baby Batman in because he was acting strange and turns out they did an x-ray and he had a sock stuck in his intestines. He had to have surgery. I was very upset and I was crying and they comforted me so well, they sent me pictures of him updated me several times, and then even sent me a video of him when he was done of how he was recovering and walking and it really helped my day at work go a lot smoother because I could not stop thinking about him. Thank you. Thank you so much to the vet who did the surgery and sent me home with so much information to take care of him and for making me feel like family and to the amazing girls at the front desk for sending me pictures of my sweet baby
