Customer service was above and beyond. Made room for us on their schedule to be seen in an emergency. Made Milo feel very comfortable.
The staff are as professional as they need to be regarding the care our pets require to ensure they stay healthy. They explain everything well and encourage questions. They also make it clear they understand our pets are also a part of our family and treat them as such. So caring and truly enjoy interacting with them. I would highly recommend them.
First time there and they took the time to listen to me about her past and answered all my questions without any hesitation. Rose was very comfortable around them and bounced around leaving. I felt like they really love what they do.
I'm disheartened and vastly disappointed that I'm typing this review. Up until this point,I've always been pleased with the care and service NE has provided. Our family pets (8+ dogs and cats)have been patients with the clinic for the greater part of the last 20 years. My mother loves her dogs more than anything and has always made sure to provide the very best of the best for them. Our 15 year old poodle started experiencing some strange symptoms late Friday evening and we stayed with her around the clock making sure she was in fact okay and not in pain or distress. As you can imagine with any animal of that age it's painfully emotional to know your time with them is coming to an end. My mom trusts the Drs at the clinic and prefers to not have to go elsewhere for anything outside of a true emergency. We waited and called first thing this morning hoping and praying they would be able to fit our beloved pup in for what we were sure would be humane euthanasia. Unfortunately, upon calling we were told there just weren't any time slots open. My mom, (heartbroken) called to let me know that she didn't know what she was going to do, we had been so sure we could count on them like we always have in the years past. I called and spoke with the office just to make sure my mom had understood correctly, partially because I was in disbelief. She understood correctly, as did I. This post isn't to bash or say anything negative about the care received, it's much the opposite, in fact it's proof that the world just isn't what it used to be. After decades of appointments and vaccines and injuries and illness with our four legged family members, today I can truly say they have dropped the ball and let down not only our family but our pup as well. I truly thought they would help in any way they could and thought their compassion would be more than appointment times and availability, I do understand business is business and when you make exceptions for one it has to carry over. I guess I just expected more. I don't know that we will be able to return after today. I guess we will find out due to the fact we must see another vet. I'm thankful for the many years of service they provided for our family but, this just really has given me a change of heart.
Here’s the deal, this clinic is the BEST veterinary practice I’ve ever taken a pet to. One of my friends suggested them after another vet in Kokomo manhandled my first dog during an exam for an ear infection. (She was a senior dog. Who does that?) I promptly switched her to Northeast Animal Clinic, and they treated her as if she were her own and even took care of me when that dog passed away. They give my current dog that same love and care and have since I adopted her a few years ago. I’ve recommended them to multiple people who have loved them as much as I do. They’re knowledgeable, friendly, and very respectful to everyone (animal and human) that comes in their doors. I moved out of county last year, and they still let me bring my dog to them. They also helped me to find a vet close to my home should I ever need one for emergencies. They have taken on care of my friend’s dog that has a lot of medical issues as well and work hard to make sure not only does she get expert medical care but that they also work as a team with my friend to treat her dog and do it quickly. I love everyone at the office, and so does my dog. If you need a vet in the area, give them a call. They’re literally the best.
Highly recommend. This are the most kind, caring knowledgeable staff. They went the extra mile with us & our dog that had terminal cancer allowing us all the time we needed with him, & options available. We've also taken our cat there, they always give an excellent exam, diagnosis & treatment while keeping cost in mind. They are military vet friendly also .
