Today my 4month old Pomeranian had his wellness exam and vaccines at Murphy Pet Hospital. All the staff was amazing, specially Dr. Hanken! They were so friendly and were so nice with me and my dog! Dr. Hanken answered all my questions and gave some great tips! I’ll totally recommend this place to you and your furry friends!

I love how accommodating this clinic is. There were times when my 8 week old puppy was keep vomiting and having diarrhea but the clinic was able to treat my puppy with fluids and meds on a weekend without an appt. This happened a few times and I was really pleased with their services. If you’re a pet parent you probably know how relieving that is. Everyone working here is also super nice. Highly recommend this clinic!

I brought both my cats here for the first time and it won’t be the last! Dr. Hanken is incredible, so knowledgeable and always thinking of what will be most comfortable for your pet. One of my cats is very aggressive at the vet, and Dr. Hanken handled it better than anywhere we’ve been previously.

Took my 5 month old kitten here for the first time because she was sick and I was so surprised at how amazing this vet office is. Everyone was really helpful and sweet with my scared standoffish kitten. This isn’t the type of vet that will demand that you get all kinds of exams done and run up a bill. But they’re very knowledgeable and you can tell they care about the animals and will recommend exactly what is needed for their well-being. I got the meds I needed and my little cat is doing great. Highly recommend this vet. They also have a separate side of the office for cats and dogs, which I really appreciated.

This local vet manged my families cat and now manages our new puppy. Ken is very kind and the puppy always likes him. The location is convenient as it’s by downtown and the Sunnyvale train station. Vet has two entrances to isolate cats and dogs. Update May 2022, this morning Boo passed when she was hit by a car in front of the house. I put her in the car to take to see Dr Ken, and the staff there were incredibly kind. She had passed in route there while I pet her and told her it would be ok. Staff cleared a room for her and were present to help with the grief that comes with losing a pet way to early. Thanks for being so kind. Miss you Boo. Further update: We got a letter in the mail from the vet and EVERYONE who works there hand wrote is a note about how sorry they were that Boo passed and how much they thought she was such a good dog. I can’t express how great these vets are.

Our cat got sick really fast and we wanted to put her down ASAP so she wouldn't suffer. We called around several vets but none had same-day appointments. This clinic accommodated us by offering us an appointment during their staff lunch period. The vet and staff were very understanding and empathetic of our heartbreak and respected our wishes with care and kindness. We are very grateful for the staff of this clinic.
