All calls never go directly to Animal Control, they get redirected to a dispatcher who then relays the info you give to AC. Dead possum in front of the house that was reported in the morning, took three days and multiple calls to report it. Dispatcher said they were really busy with a lot of calls and that it would take one more day. Possum was still whole when i called, now it has been baking in the sun for days and repeatedly run over and mutilated creating a fly covered noxious biohazard in front of the house.

I had reported an Amazon driver to Amazon for cat calling .. A few days later animal control came knocking my door asking to control my dog as they mentioned my dog bit the Amazon driver ?? The Amazon guys just retaliated and they came knocking my door and destroying our peace .. Not sure what this department does but defiantly looking for some Silicon Valley bribe etc. my neighbor reported another neighbor who beats his dog and they did nothing about it. That’s why we hate govt employees

I left a few messages about a loose dog. Nobody returned my call. Does this department exists at all? When you call - it goes straight to voicemail.

The lady on the phone was surprisingly rude considering I was just trying to rescue a stray dog and she's supposedly on the team helping with that.

Found a stray cat wondering in my house (somehow) so I called them but was told that all animals are stray and just let it go out again…? That’s not how this work. It looks like someone’s pet so I wanted to make sure the cat isn’t lost. She completely dismissed me and wasn’t helpful at all. She also hanged up on me mid sentence. Poor customer service.

Animal control came out to save some ducklings that had fallen into a grate. The animal control lady was so nice and professional. Plus she saved all six ducklings!!
