If you want honesty and transparency this is not the place to go. It’s ironic and quite laughable how these people want to cover up their truth shown by bad reviews. Do not be fooled, look at some of the positive comments these so call professionals get… It’s very suspicious how as soon as they get a bad or poor review just a couple hours later they get a good one by someone who is VERY conveniently named exactly as one of their employees. Take your time in reading into the actual comments from actual clients.

I cannot express enough how grateful I am for Dr. Christian Perales and the entire team at West Miami Animal Hospital. Dr. Perales has performed two significant surgeries on my dogs, Chocolate and Princess, and his exceptional skills have given them a new lease on life. From the outset, Dr. Perales showed immense dedication and compassion. When Chocolate was in a critical state, he acted swiftly, employing his impressive surgical expertise to save her life. Post-surgery care was equally outstanding, ensuring Chocolate had a speedy and comfortable recovery. Princess also received top-notch treatment under Dr. Perales's care. A complex dental surgery was handled with the utmost professionalism, significantly improving her quality of life. He carefully explained the procedure, risks, and postoperative care, which reassured us during what was a stressful time. I came to this vet solely because it was recommended by a family member of "DR" Christian Perales. (I should have known better) Reception was super sweet. And all the other vet techs were very nice as well. But once "DR" Perales walked in the room his intense energy over shadowed everything else. I now understand he is in the business of making money and filling people with fear about their dogs conditions. I was shamed for my dogs condition by "DR" Perales. I was told that I was going to lose my dog. And that basically it was all my fault. He fed me with fear and I left feeling scared for my dogs life and ashamed as a dog parent who cares and loves for my pets more than anything. Not to mention they wanted me to spend $2,000 there to do all kinds of things to my dog never once educating me or explaining to me what could actually be wrong with my dog. They took my dog to the back for less than 5 minutes brought her back and then brought me a long list of medications and tests my dog needed, as I didn't study to become a vet nothing made sense to me but no one explained anything. After the long list was given to me "DR" Perales wasn't to be seen again. I took my dog to a second vet for another opinion and treatment direction. I found a wonderful vet who was in the room with us for over 20 minutes explaining to us why these things were occurring and a detailed treatment plan and how we can come to solve these issues for my dog. Mind you the waiting room was full of pets and they still took the time to help us understand detail by detail. They cared. I Left feeling confident and I wasn't shamed once for my dogs condition. Yesterday I spoke to "DR" Perales about releasing my dogs records to me and his response was "yeah I'll send them right now". I've called over 10 times yesterday and over 3 times today and I've yet to receive them. I guess he wanted to be the one making the money off my dogs condition and he unfortunately can't because now I definitly don't trust him due to the fact that he is refusing to prioritize sending a simple email that takes less than 2 minutes. What is he hiding? My dogs records are my LEGAL RIGHT! His practice is based off fear and making profit. He doesn't care about his patients. Shaming pet parents for their pets conditions making them believe they will lose their pet and then bringing them a $2,000 tab of what the dog needs or ELSE! IS SHADY! This may be a business to you but it's our family to us. Your fear tactics and your neglect may make you profitable but they will never make you humble and honest. DO NOT TAKE YOUR PETS HERE. READ THE REVIEWS! THERE IS A PATTERN EVERYONE HAS SIMILAR STORIES. THEY ARE TRUE.

I’ve been coming here for years and my pups and I love it! They are excellent and cater to their specific needs. I have 2 big dogs, one being aggressive and they always make sure other animals aren’t in the waiting room. I never have to wait long to see the doctor, the nurses and staff are super kind and friendly.
